Bookish Photo Dump - July 📷✨️

Happy Release Week @authorchelseacurto
I absolutely loved 'In Stormy Weather' and can't wait to read about this friend group more!
-Anyone else counting the days for Cross Check?

I finally finished Mate and discovered a new comfort author in @marawilliamswrites 💖

Loved seeing books I'd arc read and enjoyed in the wild! @sarina.bowen definitely hooked me on yet another hockey series with 'Big Stick Energy'
and @meghanlefay introduced me to a romantasy world with viking vibes and dragons and a fierce FMC with glasses in 'Wings of Life' - I can't wait to see how it continues 🐲

This reading journey has been one wild ride - hello beautiful people 💓

Crazy how there's now about 700 people following my reading journey that literally just started ~2 years ago because I was bored and overwhelmed with my new life 🌻

-this has been and is so unbelievably fun and I am so grateful for every interaction I've had along the way (and all those book recs!). Can't wait to continue 💫✨️

I thought it was about time I reintroduced myself - this is me 💕

- cats are the priority
-forever a sucker for sunsets
- Noah Kahan without a doubt
-living that German expat in the US life and figuring it out as I go
-mood reader with a love for smutty romantasies and mysterious smalltown romances

My first October (arc) read 🍂🌾
- "Rules for Love"

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I loved being back in London with @lexivaleauthor after "Walk This Way" and getting to know Sophie more!
An adorable fallsy story about opposites attract (black cat x golden), found family and second chances (and the best spice).

Out October 13th!!

Bye bye September - Hello October (better late than never) 🐈‍⬛🍂👻

September was a busy month at work and my hours were upped quite a bit, so finding the time to read was difficult...
- I had some great arcs by @piperlawsonbooks or @authorsammwilde to keep me company though🔥

And then the craziest thing happened! 💫✨️
- My romantasy reading slump was over and I found myself enjoying 'The Stonewater Kingdom' series by @rmgillig or "Who hears the waters call" by @sophiastgermain_author and obviously obessing over the arc of @author_julie 'Reign of Remnants' series finale - "The Realm Reaper".

Special shootout to @kath_richards_writes "Fangs With Benefits" the book I was literally counting the days for 🧛‍♂️ - Who's ready for spooky season?

A hot new fall read has entered the building 🍂🧡
@julieoliviaauthor

The perfect read for my favorite season by one of my favorite authors, that just feels like one big comfy sweater - I don't know how Julie does that with every one of her books 🥧

“Me and you’s a good story, Mattie. Best one I know.”

It was impossible not to fall in love with Mattie and Campbell Porters story (and Mattie and Avas friendship) in @ellenoclover newest read "If Not You" 🌾
-one of those raw and emotional, one-sitting kind of reads about a long time rivalry, grand gestures and hidden feelings. 💕

Out tomorrow - happiest Release Week @ellenoclover ✨️

"To tell a story is in some part to tell a lie, isn’t it?"

24h and two books later I have a new series and characters (BARTHOLOMEW I get it now) to obsess over by @rmgillig 🦇✨️

Rachel's writing is so beautifully poetic it just pulls me in and then I can't stop - so this long weekend was perfect to read it all in one sitting 💕

And that's a wrap on August and another year around the sun 🌞
- excited for September and chapter 31 🎈

It was a slower reading month because I also started a cool new job but I've been enjoying the slower reading pace, just watching TV, concerts and the books that stand out to me because of that slower pace 💕🌸

Reading life and content has been a been a bit slower since I started my new job which is why it makes me even happier to find a book with the perfect 5🌟 reading experience! ✨️

I'm a sucker for a good road trip romance and "Return to Sender" by @etnerapwrites delivered that and so much more with this beautiful story about -yes a road trip- sisterhood, life after loss and vulnerability. 💌

"To be noticed by him seemed like an extraordinary thing, a rare sort of occurrence that shifted the world off its axis."

I enjoyed every moment of Violet, Bee and Dexs trip and Parentes beautiful way with words 🌸

-“You’re dangerous.”
-“Because I haven’t let life beat me into hopelessness?”
-“You make me want to be an optimist.”

Slowly getting ready for spooky season 🍂

Here are some recent Summerween arcs that should be on your tbr for this fall 🎃👻

#summerweenreads #fall2026bookreleases #reaperlovestory #spookyseason #grimtidings

"Grim Tidings" by @authorbkborison

Quite obvious - this was the cutest thing!

Another adorable warm sweater read by B.K Borison with Darcy and Gabriel as amazing grumpy x sunshine MCs within an age old rivalry as well as the cutest very wholesome sidecharacters!

"They say that those who become Reapers are the souls with the greatest potential for darkness."

Love love love 🪻💜

#grimtidings #bokborison #grimreaperlovestory #guardianlovestory #grumpyshunsineromance

"Meet Cute Magic" by one of my favorite @authormorganelizabeth

I absolutely adored this typical Morgan Elizabeth grumpy x sunshine next door neighbors in a small town romance with a whimsical, magical/ paranormal twist (and the cutest bookgirl FMC)✨️

Such practical magic feels 🪄

#morganelizabeth
#practicalmagic #smalltownparanormalromance
#witchromance #grumpysunshineromance

"Love You to Death" by @jennalevinewrites

I read this beautiful story about grumpy grim reaper Daniel accidentally befriending the sunshine soul Lucy he has to reap and helping her out even before I read "Grim Tidings" by B.K Borison and immediately fell in love with reaper stories!

This was such a beautiful and at times heartbreaking reading experience about life and loss perfect for spooky season ✨️

“You are just so . . . vibrantly alive. Everything about you.”
