Hello

New Popclaw album. Yes REALLY.

CONCRETE DREAMS arrives soon.

This album was recorded under extreme conditions:

one broken amp

Two sleep-deprived idiots

a legally questionable amount of energy drinks

the constant threat of being dropped by our label for farting in the studio

The label described the album as:“aggressively unmarketable.”

Which honestly feels punk as hell.

Instagram clips soon.

Merch may or may not survive production

Gigs shouldn't feel like a lottery.

If you write your own songs and want more gigs but don't know where to start, you're not alone. It's competitive out there, and most musicians don't have a talent problem. They have a system problem.

I'm teaming up with @bringbackgm to get the 100 Gigs Workshop in front of their community. It's live, $27.

Three days where I walk you through the exact process my students use to book paying gigs, including the tour sampling method for building a venue list that fits you, and the outreach system that gets replies instead of silence.

Stephen Higgins is an indie rock and alternative artist from Motherwell, North Lanarkshire, drawing inspiration from the rich heritage of British guitar music. Influenced by iconic artists such as Richard Ashcroft, Oasis, Blur, The Verve, Cast, and Frankie Miller, Higgins blends classic rock sensibilities with the melodic edge of modern indie, crafting songs built around memorable hooks and catchy, sing-along choruses.

Having spent over 15 years performing in various original unsigned bands across Scotland, he has developed his sound within the grassroots live music scene.

Those years of collaboration, songwriting, and performance helped shape a style that combines raw guitar energy with honest, melodic songwriting.

Now stepping forward as a solo artist, Stephen Higgins writes and records music that pays homage to the artists who shaped his musical identity while carving out a voice of his own.

His debut single “I Guess That’s It” was released March 2026. More releases have followed!

Escape the Red Tape is the second release, available on all streaming platforms!

Last year I decided I was not going to hide anymore.. I made a declaration to myself that it was time to emerge. I wrote and released and album called emergence as an energetic statement that I was coming out from hiding into the light.

Much like Persephone emerging from the underworld.

This video represented that.

Sure I'd been singing and rehearsing things but in a contracted capacity.. this was my moment to say. Ok I'll do it...

A designer from the states wanted to create a costume for me for this video and sent it across the pond for this very release 🖤@shelleynovotny.designs

It was this album that caught the attention of @oathgateband and now I am the vocalist with the band alongside @deechristopher

Never underestimate intention.

This is why I run my @dark_knight_academy_ and created the #visibikitychallenge to help people get over the cringe of being seen. Show up and let the world see your art, your heart, your voice, your music.

The album is out in all platforms with @eastlondonrecordings and my music has 2 weekly slots on @coastalbreezeradio

I am ever thankful for people believing in me.. even as I show up scared, unsure at times.. this is how we see our dreams unfold.

Thank you to all of you who have helped me believe in my art the interviews, the radio plays, the streams, the purchase of my vinyls and cds. More importantly the reason I sing is to bring a message ... you matter! 🖤

Thank you to all of these beautiful souls - please check them out and support them back.
