This was a hard post for me to make, not because my season ended short, but because after all I went through, what really was the point? However, I still want to share my story of my senior year.

Volleyball is a game of mental toughness in and of itself, but no one could’ve prepared me enough to have to sit on the sidelines and wish that it was me out there. No one could’ve prepared me enough to have to cheer so loud for the people that got to do what I so badly wanted. I don’t think anyone is going to understand my love for this sport, and that’s okay.
Although through this, I have learned to not take anything for granted. For anyone who gets to be on that court, or those who so badly waited for their time like me, never take that moment of being able to play with your best friends ever. ever. With everything that happened, I couldn’t have asked for better teammates that were always there for me. The memories that I made with them I’ll cherish forever.
