coming out of hiding after what’s been a trying year. i seem to be inching toward the other side and my baby is experiencing a more relaxed and centered mommy, with increased capacity to show up for myself.
grateful for that.

in august, after struggling to make time to read for nearly two years, i had a personal reading resurgence.
i read 4.5 books—a small victory and reunion with myself.
now i’m on the hunt for family and friends to book club with… please let me know if interested!

a rare solo errand day, a new diaper bag (my last one) and a quick but delicious birthday dinner—jerk duck drumettes and goat ragu w/ cassava gnudi, before heading to the red wings & bruins game with my crew.

may was a busy month but it was sweet.
we learned how much artemis loves going for walks and parking by the water to listen to the ripples and wiggle her toes in the breeze.
she also seems to love orchids (like mama) and pulling things out of the diaper bags with no regard for my organization/system (like dada) lol…

maybe june will be the month i start taking pictures of myself again? by @brinnoire
