A Brother /sister 2 piece punk / thrash / rock band. Striving for simplicity and originality, Nile strives for fat riffs with a catchy hook, usually writing songs with a comedic touch such as pasty In the park or others on a deeper level such as circles.

Brioche take the 9.00pm slot at this Sunday’s Seed Sessions Festival on 16th August at The Tea Bar in Basingstoke. Their set leads directly into the final act of the night, giving them one of the key evening positions in a schedule that runs from 12.00pm to 11.00pm across two stages.

With 17 acts booked throughout the day, Brioche’s appearance adds to the mix of punk, acoustic, rock and mellow performances already lined up. Tickets start from £9.00, and the timetable offers plenty of chances to catch different styles as the day moves into its later hours.

🔥 The Lounge Bar 20th Anniversary Series 🔥

Some nights just *feel* like The Lounge Bar.

To celebrate 20 years of gigs, we've put together a line-up that represents the past, present, and the wonderfully ridiculous traditions that make this place what it is.

@darko_band have been part of The Lounge Bar's story for almost as long as we've existed. Through different haircuts, different eras and countless unforgettable shows, they've always been part of the punk furniture.

We're also welcoming back @allactionhero for what is, of course, their 5th final ever show. If you've been around long enough, you'll have thought that this was over before.

Representing the bands that are keeping the scene thriving today are local favourites @briocheband , alongside @skunkworm , proving that this series isn't just about celebrating where we've been, but where we're heading too.
