An unforgettable evening of purpose, connection, and adrenaline.

Honoured to attend A Circuit For Change at @pectoronto, a charity fundraiser benefiting the @embersforaccessfoundation. From the incredible Porsche Track Experience and racing simulator to an exceptional multi-course dinner, every detail of the evening was thoughtfully curated to bring people together for an important cause.

A special thank you to @thetaylorgroup for presenting such a memorable event, and to @brytonjames and @seandominicofficial for joining the evening and making it even more special.

It’s always inspiring to be in rooms where meaningful conversations, unforgettable experiences, and community come together to create real impact. taken in Porsche Experience Centre Toronto by @brionewishart

Attending the Living Luxe Awards Show over the weekend was an incredible experience.

From the moment you walked in, the atmosphere was pure opulence, every detail elevated and every moment intentional. It was a true celebration of excellence, creativity, and community.

I was especially inspired by the creatives, entrepreneurs, and designers in the room. The level of vision, talent, and dedication was powerful to witness.

A standout moment was seeing George Sully present the People’s Choice Award, an inspiring reminder of the power of culture and representation.

Congratulations to all the winners and nominees. The level of talent in the room was undeniable. A special shoutout to the band for delivering a flawless performance that brought the entire night to life.

Experiences like this remind me why storytelling, creativity, and community matter so much. by @brionewishart

Quality, premium, luxury. In today’s world, these words are used so loosely they often lose their meaning. But then there are spaces like this. Spaces that restore their value the moment you step inside. Not loud. Not forced. Not performative. Just timeless design, uncompromising craftsmanship, and a level of excellence that speaks in every curve, every material, every detail. This is the kind of luxury that does not need to announce itself because you can feel it. In an age where so much is overdone, there is something powerful about precision, restraint, and quality that simply stands on its own. Special thanks to Grand Touring Automobiles for the invite, and for recognizing BDC and the craftsmanship and quality we bring to our own storytelling.” ~George Sully

Ambition gave me vision.
Hustle gave me motion.
Community gave me strength.

As a creative, an entrepreneur, a renaissance spirit… nothing came easy, but everything came with purpose.

There were moments I had to bet on myself with no blueprint. Times when the work didn’t get seen, the ideas didn’t land, and the path felt unclear. But ambition kept me thinking bigger than my circumstances. Hustle kept me moving even when motivation wasn’t there. And community… community reminded me I was never building alone.

That’s the part people don’t talk about enough. The people who pour into you, check in on you, open doors, and sometimes just remind you who you are when you forget.

I’ve learned that success isn’t just about what you create, it’s about what you build with others and what you carry forward.

Still evolving. Still building. Still becoming. by @brionewishart

Seeing our Step and Repeat from the BDC Magazine launch event transformed into a full collection… Part 2.

When we first created that backdrop, it was meant to hold a moment, capture the energy, the people, the experience. But I’ve always believed that the most powerful ideas don’t end where they’re expected to.

Connecting back with Meesh and seeing how she reimagined that material into a full collection was a reminder of what’s possible when creativity is given space to evolve. I knew it would be strong, but I was still blown away by how far it was pushed.

For me, this is what storytelling and design is really about. Taking something that exists in one context and giving it a second life, a new perspective, a deeper meaning.

This is bigger than a collection. It’s about rethinking how we approach the moments we create and finding ways to extend their impact.

Stay tuned for Part 3, where we bring the BDC Step and Repeat Collection to life through a full shoot.

Last week I had the opportunity to speak with an incredible group of youth at the Pinball Accelerator at George Brown College’s Limberlost Place and it really made me reflect on how powerful initiatives like this are.

Week 3 focused on career readiness, from networking and mindset workshops to resume building, LinkedIn tips, and mock interviews. That last part is always my favourite because it gives young people a chance to practice real world confidence in real time.

Being there reminded me that I did not grow up with many spaces like this. A lot of what I had to learn about interviews, networking, and presenting myself professionally came through trial and error. That is why seeing programs like this matters so much, they help close that gap earlier for the next generation.

I spoke to the youth about mentorship, internships, staying consistent in your learning, and the importance of building real connections. More than anything, I wanted them to know that your path does not have to be perfect, it just has to keep moving forward.

Grateful to Linda and the Whiteboard Collective for the invitation and the opportunity to share. The future is bright. by @brionewishart

As Director of Video & Storytelling at BDC Magazine, my role goes beyond capturing moments, it’s about interpreting them and finding the narrative within the spaces, people, and details that shape the experience.

“The step and repeat is often the one true constant at an event. It brings everyone together, captures the energy, and holds the moment in place. So why not take that same spirit and give it a second life?”

“I turned our Step and Repeat into a dress.” — @realgeorgesully

That intention led me into Micheline Wedderburn’s (@meesh.to) space. Being immersed in her environment felt like stepping into a living ecosystem of architecture, fashion, art, books, tools, and endless creative possibility. Every element reflected intention, process, and expression.

Her energy is infectious. It pulls you into a state of creation where ideas move freely and design becomes an open conversation. Her approach to recycled fashion transforms what already exists into something meaningful — aligning with reduce, reuse, recycle, while elevating it through artistry and vision.

Commissioning her for this project wasn’t just about the final piece, it was about experiencing the mindset behind it. A mindset rooted in creativity, passion, and the ability to see potential in everything.

Stay tuned for part two.
