💜 Lead With Love Yoga Studio
Where you are seen, supported, and loved. by @bripirro

💜 A Beautiful First for Lead With Love! 💜

My heart is so full as I reflect on a very special milestone for Lead With Love Yoga Studio — our very first 20-Hour Foundations of Yoga Training!

This past September and October, Jennifer, Brianna, and I had the honor and privilege of sharing space with eight incredible women who showed up with open hearts and a willingness to explore something deeper.

We laughed. We cried. We shook. We flowed. We connected. We grew. 🪷

Together, we explored the philosophy of yoga and the deeper meaning behind why we practice. We were reminded that yoga is a journey of self-discovery, awareness, compassion, and learning how to live our yoga beyond the mat.

To these eight beautiful souls, thank you for trusting us and allowing us to be part of your journey. We learned from you just as much as we hope you learned from us.

This is why Lead With Love exists. To create space for connection, growth, and transformation.

My heart is filled with gratitude, and I cannot wait for our next training!

Stay tuned. We’re just getting started! 💜✨

Join me on June 7th at @sanayoganj … kundalini kriyas feel different for everyone . I actually HATED my first kundalini class , but I figured I’d try again the next week.. I HATED that one too 🤣 … a year later I tried again and I genuinely feel that it one of the many things that have helped me stay in existence, raise my vibration and I apologize to previous me for any times I’ve fallen out of my practice. Let me know if u have questions! by @bripirro

2 spots left for Self Care Sunday ! For those already signed up, please bring a yoga mat, your water bottle, and optional to bring a throw blanket for extra comfort.
We will start promptly at 5pm in Staten Island. See you then! by @bripirro

I experienced a lot of grief this year , grief to the health of a loved one, grief to my puppy brother, grief in relationships but overall stayed afloat for the most part!!!! Only one bad dip in March/ April. I’ve been able to put my health at the forefront of my life and I am very proud of my self. That wouldn’t be possible without the people in this and the last post. And to others that also fall in that boat but I don’t have pics - we must be better about taking pics! lol shoutout to all the babies in my life. My nephews and my babies who aren’t babies anymore . A lot of nice moments this year - in no particular order - thank you everyone ❤️ by @bripirro

Highlights from my 31st year - At some point my Instagram became only about posting fitness classes … probably around the time my life became mainly about fitness classes lolol no im just kidding but it’s a big part of it and I am grateful. But theres many moments I haven’t shared during my 31st year and here are just some!
Im having dejavú … im even having dejavú about having dejavú . lol weird - guna go search old posts to see if i typed that out before. Anyway lol thank you for all the birthday love, proud to be out of survival mode and enjoying being able to do whatever the fuck I want, it’s pretty cool. #31 is such an ugly number tho 😂 #evensRbetter by @bripirro

A month ago, my parents decided to finally put my Puppy Brother to rest. Peluche came unexpectedly, in May of 10th grade… we had recently lost Keiko and the house was not the same without a dog. One day my dad came home with this huge male shitzu that looked a little too big to be a shitzu lol & he didn’t know his name- said he got him from a Latin family in Newark that couldn’t keep him. He said his name was “ Lucho or Leche or something. “ dog was hyper. We got a voicemail from the family requesting to visit to see ‘Peluche’ - we said Peluche? Finally after a week the dog answered to us cause we finally knew his name. I’ll always love that story - I think it’s ironic too how my dad wrote that his name was Polucchi at the vet 😩😅 he made him Italian lol. Ugh, my puppy brother… he had many names tho- pu, puchi, pelu, big boy, puchipoo, al Capone, but he was my brother. He was a great dog, he became a big bro to BB, and then when she had the babies he was so sweet and respectful. Watching him age was always a shock because he was like a dog that had 9 lives. So many times we thought he was done, but he never was until eventually they decided to put him out of his suffering. I didn’t even realize how long it was until I looked up these pics.. one whole year of seeing his back legs give out, & helping him use the bathroom outside. And even till the end, as much as he could he would hold it and wait to go outside. I learned in this situation how easily it is for me to normalize & become desensitized to discomfort, pain, and hardship especially when it comes to ppl I love. Pelu never let us know he was in pain tho, but eventually he also stopped telling us he was hungry - but he never did stop eating. I was glad I was able to give him his burger finally. My poor puppy brother , im sorry . I love you forever, you made it to 16/17 and I just wish you would have chosen to rest on your own, I know there is a human inside you, an old , kind man… I wish I could give you more hugs. Thank you for being my brother. 😓🩵🐶 sorry this is so late, I’ve thought of you everyday. Still feels like there’s a missing piece… pu pu pu, che che che , long live , my dog Peluche ! by @bripirro

Pole, aside from passion, emotion and discipline, is choreography, strength and flexibility.
I was born with one and raised with another but strength was never one of my traits. As a hypermobile person, flexibility was innate but my body was always the party trick- unknowingly I was moving (and at times manipulating) my body in ways that would only further weaken the tendons and muscles around my joints. I’ve been in instructed dance classes since I was 3- I learned choreography and musicality alongside learning how to read and write but I was never up to par with technique because of the lack of strength. Instead of fighting to get stronger I simply decided that I would never be at that level - I decided I was an amateur, and to make up for low jumps and missed pirouettes, I would give heightened emotion instead.
Then came pole… I knew I didn’t want to stay complacent, I wanted for once to feel and to be strong. I am doing things with my body that I never imagined I could. It’s not perfect, it’s not effortless… yet! Unlocking certain moves over this summer as I approach my 5th year poleversary in the New Year has been a confirmation and testament to my consistency and passion for this sport. Grateful for my teachers and my community.

I love this music choice because it reminds me of those very charming aesthetically pleasing videos of a beautiful fall day for example… it sounds magical and wondrous. I feel like this sport is magic at times- between the mental grit, physical artistry and friendship created, it feels supernatural when you don’t think about the effort time sweat and tears that you’ve already put in.
I also like this song for the title- I read a post that said trees become their strongest in autumn 🍂 even though the leaves are falling and it appears as death, during this time there are no fruits to bear or leaves to grow and so all the energy goes down into its roots, strengthening the foundation to prepare for new life. As someone who has suffered with S.A.D. I begin to fear the change in weather but this year, as a I strengthen my body for elevated moves, I’ll honor this new perspective, and relish in the preparation of warm months to return. by @bripirro
