Back at Parkrun Baby!!

Last one was last Christmas Day 😂 like to keep it consistent round here!

Didn’t really have any plans, ate breakfast way to close to running, set off keeping a steady pace and not looking at my watch just managing my breathing.

Final stretch into the finish, picked up the pace and managed to squeeze past 5 other runners to cross that line 🤘

Chasing those Garmin badges 🚴‍♀️

25 miles (or 40km) along the Trans Pennine Trail today in the sunshine. Practicing some descents along the way (as well as climbs), indicating and turning!

Feel like I’m starting to like this longer (maybe not for some) distance riding! 🤘

Wednesdays Miles 🏃‍♀️

Warm and sweaty 4 miles along to TPT!
Tried to keep a steady pace
Got into my stride around the 1.5mile point though, sometimes it takes time to settle in nicely 🤘

Sunny miles and smiles 🚴‍♀️

Still feeling fairly new to gravel riding so pleased to get out for a longer ride, however I definitely need to practice some more.

Did not consider that not all bridleways are made equally and ended up having to carry the bike up parts 🤣

The downhills on also rocky sections needs some work to build that confidence as well! 🚵‍♀️

Round Sheffield Run 2026 🏃‍♀️

You absolute beauty!! Temps were spicy hot, the sun was full blast but there was some breeze at least 🌞

Something clicked and this year the hills were slightly better (only slightly)! Plus I stopped off for a calippo part way round which was a game changer in this heat 🍧

Really pleased with today’s effort and even had some lovely celebratory cocktails and pizza @romyspizzabar taken in ROUND Sheffield Run by @bristolbeth

Now my bike has been serviced and is rideable again I had to get out for some early miles 🚴‍♀️

Plan to get out on the bike more this summer 🌞

Early morning run to beat the heat! 🏃‍♀️

Staying hydrated 🚰, finding the shade 🌳 and slowing the pace 🏃‍♀️ to get through that!

Even at before 8am it was getting warm! 🌞

Finished the day off with some home cooked pizza and trying to stay cool!

GrenoRun Trail race 🏃‍♀️

A very soggy start to this race, pretty sure I was wetter at the start line than the end! But what’s a bit of rain eh?!

Oh also falling in a massive puddle, mud all up one leg, both shoes flooded within the first 2 miles 🤣🤣 see the video for the aftermath!

Just over 7 miles though woods and fields, the rain eased (not stopped) by the end and the spectators were still out in force! 🙌

Even though I was very soggy and it felt like a mental game at times I managed a 5min PB on last years race ✌️
