TB1 TIMETABLE 2026🌟🌟🌟

We are so excited to announce that the TB1 timetable has officially been finalised and we can’t wait to dance with you all again!

Here’s a quick reminder of some general info:
📍 All classes take place in the Richmond Building or the SEH
📌 No need to book in advance, payments are taken at the door
🚪 Some classes get busy, so we recommend arriving 10 minutes early as the Dance Studio and SEH have a maximum capacity
🗓 Classes start the week beginning 21st September
💸 For the first two weeks, all classes are just £1, the perfect chance to try out sessions and get a feel for the Dance Society!

Changes to the timetable this term‼️
Due to popular demand, we’ve added an additional Advanced Commercial class AND an additional Advanced Ballet class to the timetable!
Both sessions within each style will be taught the same choreography, giving more of you the chance to join while keeping class numbers manageable 💕

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, we’re always happy to help
See you in the studio!
Big dance love,

We are very pleased to announce that Bristol Dance Society has achieved Gold Accreditation in the Bristol SU Group Accreditation Scheme for the 4th year running!!!

A massive thank you to everyone who helped make this happen especially the committee who have continuously gone above and beyond to help the society reach this goal. A special thank you to Juliet, our Secretary, who has organised BAS for dance soc and worked very hard to ensure we achieve this award!

Hey Dancers!!! The social for this Wednesday coming is going to be “EVIL VILLAINS” themed 🦹😈💅🏻. This could be someone from a movie, tv show or book- or you can be creative and interpret “evil” however you like! We will be doing a pub crawl, starting Den and Terrace at EXACTLY 8pm (we will have 15% of drinks until 9pm 🥂🎟️). We will then hop over to Steam and WG grace (the times for these will be updated via the Groupchat on the day). Villains will then have the choice to go to either Brass pig or Daisys afterwards! There are limited tickets for Daisys however, so if this is your preference get those tickets quick!💃🪩. Also… bring your best costumes as there will be prizes for the top 3 outfits 🏆🥇. We want to see FULL commitment!!!!

Hi guys! This month (1st Oct-31st Oct) we celebrate Black History Month in the UK. The significance of this celebration is evident both in its historical background and its impact on societies both in the past and currently. One of the many areas where impact has been astounding is the dance community and culture. Please swipe through the slides and look through all the important information and we also have linked below clips of each genre of dance mentioned in the post!

Hey dancers! We’re super excited to announce the return of our Fight Night Heels Performance team! 👠❤️‍🔥🖤

Please REGISTER YOUR INTEREST via the link in our bio (https://forms.gle/Js9He4Fqi4brQWpB8)

Each year, our heels team usually performs at two Fight Nights: one in TB1 and one in TB2. The routine will also feature in our annual end of year show! 🤩 Our first confirmed performance will be at The Fighter on Friday 13th November. Please ensure you are free on this date! 🔥

To gauge numbers, we are putting out an interest form to see how many of you are planning on attending this audition. It will take place after Bethany’s regular Heels class on Sunday 11th October, which will run as normal from 20:30-21:45. Then, if you wish to be considered for a place on the team, we will require you to stay after the class and perform the routine in small groups. There will be no obligation to stay and you are still welcome to attend the class if you do not wish to audition 🫶 by @bristoldancesoc
