Y’ALLLLL… I FINALLY DID IT!! 🥹🚀💙

After years of learning, growing, making mistakes, figuring things out, building partnerships, fundraising, creating programs, hosting events, and pouring into my community… I decided to put what I’ve learned into THE NONPROFIT BLUEPRINT! 📘✨

When I started my nonprofit, I definitely didn’t have all the answers. I learned so much simply by DOING—and now I want to make the journey a little easier for the next person with a vision on their heart. ❤️

If you’ve been saying, “I want to start a nonprofit, but I don’t know where to start…” THIS IS FOR YOU!

💙 The Nonprofit Blueprint (hard copy)
💰 $39.99

💙 The Nonprofit Blueprint (digital)(pdf)
💰 $29.99

I’m so excited to finally share this with y’all! 🥹

Your idea has been sitting in your head long enough.
Your community needs what you have to offer.
It’s time to BUILD. 🧱🚀

Because around here…

✨ When life hands you rocks, make a rocket ship. 🚀

So we did a thing! 💚

Build Yourself Up Academy officially adopted a mile in the very city where I was born—Marietta, GA. And to make it even sweeter, it’s on my Granny’s street, the very street where I grew up. 🥹

This moment means more than an Adopt-A-Mile sign. It’s a reminder that you can leave an impact right where your story began.

Legacy has always been important to me. Through Build Yourself Up Academy, I’ve had the privilege of helping others recognize their fullest potential while continuing to discover my own. To see our nonprofit serving the same community that helped raise me is something I’ll never take for granted.

We’ve got a long way to go, but this is a milestone I’ve been working toward for a while, and I’m so proud that it’s finally here.

To everyone who’s been rocking with me from the beginning, believing in the vision, volunteering, donating, encouraging, and showing up when things weren’t easy—thank you. Y’all know who you are. The ones who stay down for the come up are truly part of this legacy too.

This is only the beginning. We ain’t done yet. 💚🚮✨

✨ WHAT A MILESTONE! ✨

This year, Build Yourself Up Academy had the incredible honor of being an official charity partner for the Atlanta Track Club’s Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race! 🏃🏾‍♀️🍑

A very special THANK YOU to all the runners today!

Special shout out to Melissa! @melissaismoving ❤️ Truly an angel! I met Melissa through @themotionrunclub , when I was getting back into running and she was so welcoming. I’m so grateful she believed in our mission and stepped up as one of our sponsored runners—she helped us raise over $300 to support Build Yourself Up Academy!

This experience reminded me how powerful it is to be surrounded by a community where fitness, wellness, encouragement, and genuine connections all come together. There is something special about being in an environment that inspires people to become healthier while building meaningful relationships.

If you haven’t already, I encourage you to make your health a priority this year. Join a run club, sign up for a 5K, take a walk after work, or simply find a way to get your body moving. Every step you take is another way of building yourself up. 💙

Thank you to everyone who donated, encouraged us, and supported this opportunity. Your generosity means more than you know.

And a huge thank you to the Atlanta Track Club for partnering with Build Yourself Up Academy this year. We are honored to have been part of such an amazing event, and we hope to be back even stronger next year! 🙌🏾

So far we’re only $10 away from hitting our first $300 milestone — and we still have 112 days to reach our BIG goal of $10,000! 🙌🏽🏃🏽‍♀️💛

Honestly, I’d be thrilled with $3,000… but I truly believe we can hit 10K with the power of community and everyone pitching in! Being selected as a charity partner with the Atlanta Track Club and the Peachtree Road Race has been such an incredible blessing, and I’m praying we can continue turning that blessing into impact for our youth.

Every donation goes directly toward our Build Your Knowledge Scholarship Fund 📚✨ This year alone, we were able to award scholarships to 4 amazing students, and with your help, we hope to support even more next year!

Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared, encouraged, and supported us so far. We’re just getting started 💙 #BuildYourKnowledge #ScholarshipFund #PeachtreeRoadRace #AtlantaTrackClub #YouthEmpowerment CommunitySupport by @britbratcoolcat

Big congratulations to Mr. Caleb Roberson @iamcalebrob iamcalebrob on committing to University of West Georgia on a football scholarship! 🏈🎓

An Achieve Atlanta scholar from right here in Atlanta and a proud graduate of Frederick Douglass High School, Caleb is headed to UWG — which ironically is also my alma mater! ❤️🐺

He will be studying Physical Therapy while continuing his athletic career on the field. We are beyond proud of his hard work, dedication, and perseverance.

The future is bright! Congratulations Caleb — keep making Atlanta proud! 🙌🏽✨

Congratulations to 3/4 of our BYK Scholars, Mr. Daniel Cabra Lara of Acworth, GA!! 🎓✨

He’s heading to the University of Georgia and has already been accepted into the prestigious Morehead Honors College 👏🏽🔥

What makes this moment even more special is the full circle behind it… his mom is my phlebotomist every time I go to my appointments—and when I say she’s the BEST, I mean it! Always quick, always smooth, never misses a vein 😂💉

I shared information about our scholarship with her, she passed it along to her son, he applied—and now look at God!!! 🙌🏽

This is exactly why we do what we do. Real impact. Real connections. Real opportunities.

Congratulations Daniel! I already know you’re about to be a trailblazer at UGA 🐾💪🏽
