Dreaming of sunny spring days #spring #chickens #beautiful #flowers #sunshine by @britishflowerpots
Sometimes a delivery arrives that’s about so much more than what’s inside the boxes… These beautiful pots from @britishflowerpots have just arrived and I genuinely couldn’t be happier with them. Beautifully made, timeless and exactly the sort of craftsmanship I love to support. One pot in particular is especially meaningful to me – their Tree Pot. We have a very special tree that carries a great deal of sentimental value, and it finally has a home worthy of it. I can’t wait to share that story with you soon. I’ve got lots of planting to do over the coming weeks, so expect to see these appearing around the cottage garden as they settle into their new homes. Oh… and if you’ve ever admired these pots, you might want to keep a close eye on my page over the next week or two. That’s all I’m saying for now… 😉 #Gifted #BritishFlowerpots #CottageGarden #EnglishGarden #GardenInspiration ContainerGardening ThatCotswoldLife by @britishflowerpots

Who else is determined to make the most of summer’s last hurrah?! 🌺🌼🌸 I certainly am, which is why I always give my pots a late summer reset - we can have some gorgeous weather in the next couple of months, and it’s lovely to have somewhere pretty to sit in the garden with a cup of tea. I have been refreshing my beautiful glazed pots from @britishflowerpots that sit around the benches on our terrace. They are hand crafted using 100% British clay, and are guaranteed frost proof. If you are thinking of giving your garden a floral boost to carry you through September and beyond, there is a link in my bio and a 15% discount for you using the code: EMMASFLOWERGARDEN So what have I been doing? I’ve pulled out the annuals that haven’t survived the heat, cut back others and removed dead and yellowing leaves from the plants that are still flourishing. I have chosen to fill the gaps with some lovely late flowering perennials which I know will provide lots of colour well into the Autumn. I intend to plant them out into the borders eventually, but not until the soil has been replenished with the promised rain. In the meantime, I shall be spending every spare moment on my favourite bench, surrounded by beautiful, colourful flowers, breathing in the scent of herbs and late roses and watching bees and butterflies flit contentedly around me☺️🌸🌾🦋 by @britishflowerpots

Jafs walled garden 🏡🪏 Agapanthus, verbena and African marigolds really work together in this pot from @britishflowerpots Loving the colour combo It's been a beautiful day here The petunia and geraniums in the raised bed are looking fabulous today after a week of rain ☔ The lawn is starting to recover The rosemary pyramid will be due its final trim in mid September Hope you all had a great weekend We maintain gardens throughout Yorkshire and Saddleworth for private gardens #britishflowerpots #jafswalledgarden #containergarden #raisedbed #prettygardens by @britishflowerpots
1 garden mistake I didn’t make this year and one in which I don’t intend to repeat is to keep buying small pots! With the hot dry summers we are now having pots dry out so so quick! Which is why I’m so pleased with my new XL piecrust terracotta pots from @britishflowerpots AD. as they hold the moisture for so much longer! It won’t be long before I’ll be popping spring bulbs in here for an all year round display! Are you guilty of doing this too? First lawn cut in a few weeks We have visitors this weekend and I want to make sure the lawn is clean and tidy for the younger ones as holly leaves aren't nice at any time especially dry ones. The garden is looking better for the rain and the soil is very wet now. The pots in the front are looking great from @britishflowerpots We maintain gardens throughout Yorkshire and Saddleworth for private gardens #yorkshiregardener #prettygardens #containergardening #flowerarrangements #jafswalledgarden by @britishflowerpots
Your wedding day is so special which means the flowers that accompany you need to really work! 💐 I really enjoyed putting together this display for my brothers wedding up in SW Scotland. Oranges, reds, pinks & terracotta 🪴 It was a challenge with the weather. As soon as we planted everything the wind came and didn’t leave until after the wedding ceremony 😫 so 2 weeks of being battered and a few casualties (my poor dahlias 😢) but between myself and the brides lovely mum we pulled it off! If you’re having a garden wedding or party and want a BIG planted display then give me a shout! @planting_bysteph 💚 Gardens are permanent and can be restrictive but if you want a gorgeous display for a weekend event then planted pots give you sooo much more freedom! I will plan, plant, set up, water and then remove after the event. You won’t have to lift a finger 🙌 Ad, pots very kindly gifted from @britishflowerpots 😍 They are strong, stylish and work so well in any garden space! We already purchased some for our own garden 🪴 Happy new week everyone 💚 #wedding #gardenwedding #flowering #potted #planting by @britishflowerpots
