I'm honored to announce that our film, "Picking a Guitar," has been selected as a finalist at the 2025 French Riviera Film Festival in Cannes, France.

This marks our first nomination at an international film festival, and we are deeply grateful for the opportunity to present our work alongside such a distinguished selection of films and filmmakers.

Our sincere thanks to the FRFF jury for this recognition, and to our dedicated cast, crew, and supporters who have contributed to bringing this project to life.

We look forward to representing our film at the festival this May.

BEST DOUBLE ACT! The wonderful Adrian Crowley @crowonafence and Abraham Shomefun @abraham_a_m_p have won the Best Double Act award at the excellent Dublin International Comedy Film Festival 2025, for their parts in ‘Picking A Guitar’. That brought a large ‘Measure of Joy’ to our faces.

‘Picking A Guitar’ will be screened on Saturday 29 November 2025 at the Dublin International Comedy Film Festival in the 6.45pm selection, at the lovely @tailors_hall in Christchurch.

And there will be a clatter of other short films, plus the standup comedians finals and awards, there that evening! So we are looking forward to a great night!

Delighted to inform you that Sunflower has been selected for the Catalyst International Film Festival 2025! We are immensely grateful to the festival for this fantastic opportunity. @catalystintfilmfestival

The event will take place at Belltable in Limerick from April 3rd to 5th. Our film will be screened as part of the National Student Award Short Film Programme on April 5th at 11:30 AM.
