POSTS STORIES REELS

Eight years ago I started drawing things I loved. Today, it’s been my full-time job for over five years🌻🌿🍄

I’m beyond grateful that I get to spend my days illustrating the things that bring me the most joy and that I get to share that with you.

I hope it brings a little bit of that same joy into your day too!

⭐️ What’s something small you’ve romanticized about your life lately?

If you want to see where you can find my goodies in person, or want to shop online, check the link in bio for my shop and all info! ☺️

Thanks for your support! It truly means the world to me!

The -ber months are flying by and I can’t believe it’s November tomorrow?! October was very cosy, though! 🎃🍂☕️📖 (I do wish it would last a little longer…) by @brittalsemgeest

my favourite time of year 🍂☕️🎃📖🐌

I truly feel most like myself during Autumn and I’ll always be extra happy when it rolls around again every day by @brittalsemgeest

Homemade syrup only lasts about a week or 2 in the fridge, but up to 3 months in the freezer! Pumpkin spice lattes all autumn long! 🍁🍂☕️ I’m so excited that autumn is here! My favourite time of year <3 by @brittalsemgeest

This is my 1000th post on Instagram (wow!) 🌻 As much as we often see all the big milestones celebrated online, like graduations, weddings, buying a house, starting a new job, having kids etc. I wanted to share something that’s very close to my heart, which is noticing the little things in life.

I truly believe that all the small moments in between these big milestones are what makes life truly magical. Of course, those big moments are special, but they’re only such a small part of life, and they don’t happen every day. Our day to day life is what, if we’re lucky, returns to us every single day. And I think we often take those ordinary days and moments for granted.

A beautiful sunrise. A phone call with your mum. A coffee outside in the morning sun. A laugh with your best friends. A walk along the canal. Opening a window on a chilly autumn morning to let the fresh air in.

The older I get, the more I realise that these are the moments I want to soak up the most. The ones I want to be fully present in and to never take for granted. Life is unpredictable. It can change at any moment, and if we’re always looking towards the next big thing, we might actually forget to notice the beauty in the ordinary.

Here’s to the little things 🌻 by @brittalsemgeest

I’m seeing @practicalmagicmovie today and I can’t wait!! 🤎🐈‍⬛🔮🌟🎃🍄‍🟫 The original Practical Magic is one of my favourite autumnal films, so seeing the second one today feels like the perfect way to start Autumn this year 🫶🏼

Book haul ☕️📖 A few years ago my physical TBR was over 150 books, but the last time I counted it was 47! I have been focusing a lot on reading the books I already own and it felt great, but now… I thought it was about time to break that book buying ban! I got some gems! Which one should I read first? by @brittalsemgeest

The Basically Britt Advent Calendar! 🎄I designed 12 new whimsical stationery and bookish goodies to open in the run up to Christmas!

This is the second year I’ve designed an advent calendar and it’s truly one of my favourite projects ever 🥹💖 December is my favourite month, so I love that I get to share that love with you all.

All designed with lots of love by me, in Rotterdam 🇳🇱

You can use all goodies all year around but 2 items have a small Christmas/NYE theme to them! 🌟

You can now pre-order the calendar! The shipping of the calendars starts this month and I’ll bring some calendars to the events that I’m attending in the upcoming months (until it sells out). Over 60% is already sold!

Thanks so much for your support! I can’t wait for you to discover all the new goodies! 💖📖🎄 by @brittalsemgeest

It’s tiiiiiiime 🎄 Okay I’m going to be honest. I’m not ready to say goodbye to the autumn vibes yet, so for November I’m channeling the “Christmautumn” mood 🍂

I can’t believe how fast time is flying and how we’re already halfway through the cosy -ber months!

Let’s make the most of it 💖 by @brittalsemgeest
