“The Best Men” Official short film teaser! (FULL FILM ON YOUTUBE! Link in my bio)

I’ve filmed over 100 weddings in the last decade, so it’s funny that I’m just now making a short film about them. The prompts of a staple remover and a handwritten vow really made it easy to think in that direction, and then Lakeview popped into my head, specifically this room we film grooms getting ready in. It always looks beautiful, so naturally, I wrote that in, and then they were incredibly accommodating right from the start!

This whole process was a true definition of if you will it, it will happen. I had an idea, and brilliant people around me stepped in to make that happen.

Massive thanks to our sponsor, @tuxedodenca for agreeing last minute to let our 3 leads wear their gorgeous tuxes. Not only did they do that, they went the extra mile in the details and were extra accommodating.

Another huge shoutout to @lakeviewestatesandwinery for opening up their beautiful venue for us to film in. Our wedding team has shot numerous weddings at their location, and everyone there are always going out of their way to not only make their couples feel special, but their vendors too.

Next we have our talent - @sol.seer and @thewsammy came in clutch as our leads, pulling out all the skills to deliver a decent chunk of dialogue with barely any notice. I am so grateful for their time and effort to make this short become a reality.

@dang.it.nathan and @bgenessie had small, but impactful roles, and knocked them out of the park. Nathan didn’t have to act too much since what he had to do is something we’ve dealt with on real weddings, so I’m glad he got to relive some of our past trauma 😂.

Lastly, this crew was STELLAR. Everything was smooth because these badasses stepped up and made everything easy. Massive thanks for all your time, effort and dedication to my films.

Sterling Messiah Anthony - 5/22/25 - a whole year of loving you and somehow it still feels like yesterday that we first held you in our arms. This past year has been filled with sleepless nights, endless cuddles, first smiles, tiny giggles, messy moments and more love than we ever knew was possible.

Watching you grow from a tiny 5 pound premie into the happiest, most curious , chunky little 1 year old has been the greatest blessing of our lives. You’ve taught us patience, unconditional love, and how the smallest moments can become the most meaningful memories. Every little milestone - your first laugh, first tooth, first steps, and even your silly little expressions has made this year unforgettable.

Happy 1st birthday to the boy who made our hearts fuller and our lives brighter. We are so proud to be your parents and are so grateful for every second with you. No matter how big you grow, you will always be our baby boy! Here’s to your first trip around the sun and to a lifetime of adventures, happiness, and love ahead.

Fourteen!

It feels impossible that it’s already been fourteen years since the day you made me a mommy. Before you, I had no idea how much one heart could love another. Then you arrived... and suddenly my entire world had a new purpose.

I’ve watched your tiny hands grow bigger, your voice grow deeper, and your dreams grow beyond anything I could have imagined. Somehow, the little boy I once carried has become a young man standing taller every day.

Being your mom has been the greatest privilege of my life.
Through every high and every low, you’ve been one of God’s greatest reminders that His plans are far greater than ours. You changed me in ways I’ll spend a lifetime trying to put into words.

As you celebrate 14 today, my prayer is that you never question how deeply you are loved. That you walk boldly in who God created you to be, stay kind in a world that needs more kindness, and always remember you’ll have a home in my heart no matter how old you become.

Last June, I barely knew you.
This June, I can’t imagine a life where you don’t exist.

A year ago, June held a version of me that had never known your laugh, your tiny hands reaching for mine or the way your smile could make even the hardest days feel light. Last June was one of the hardest seasons of my life, and everything looked so different. But I’m grateful God had other plans, because his greatest blessing was you.

In just one year, you’ve rewritten every part of my heart. You’ve taught me a love that asks for nothing but somehow gives me everything in return. Every sleepy cuddle, every milestone, every giggle, and every moment with you has become a piece of who l am.

My heart is overflowing with excitement and joy! This past Wednesday my oldest son, Timothy Liam Perez graduated 8th grade. I can hardly believe how quickly the years have flown by. It feels like just yesterday I was holding your little hand on our way to your first day of preschool and now I’m watching you step into a whole new chapter of life.

Being your mom has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. I’ve watched you grow through challenges, celebrate victories, learn lessons and become a strong, kind and incredible young man. Your determination, your heart and the person you are becoming makes me proud every single day. I pray that God continues to guide you and bless you through this next journey.

As you get ready for high school, I hope you always remember how loved you are and how capable you are of achieving anything you set your mind to. No matter how tall you grow or how far life takes you, you will always be my little boy.

Congratulations baby! This is only the beginning and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things your future holds.
