I felt so beautiful carrying my son Jordan. I took so many pictures with that big belly - the only memories I have of him.

October 4th 3 years ago today... I birthed a beautiful boy. A full baby. He was just lifeless.

I will for the rest of my life never forget that experience. I still do not fully know why he was taken from me.

I do know he has impacted many in a positive light, including me.

This weekend is always an emotionally exhausting one for me. I have already cried a few times today, trying to hide the pain from my kids ❤️

3 years ago today- I learned my first born in my third trimester had no heartbeat (unexplained). I than had to get induced... and labor + deliver him still.

I can not even describe to someone rationally what that feels like. There are no words.

I held my son still. Not crying. I never got to see his eyes open.

I cherish my kids now. I see my son in each of them. I love their cries. It might sound dumb, but Iove changing their diaper and washing their clothes - it means they are alive.

My husband took these pretty photos of me in a sunflower patch a month before Jordan died. I hated that flower for a while after that. It was a reminder of life & death.

This summer-- my daughter ( named after her brother ) was drawn to sunflowers-- maybe she connects with him through them. I now love the flower again.

My son Gabriel looks like J. Its hauntingly beautiful.

I could go on. All this to say. 3 years ago I was in a hospital room waiting to meet my deceased son... today and every year... I will celebrate him.

Wishing the happiest birthday to 'my person' 🩷

This might be one of the most special ones yet! We got to spend it with our pup and 2 living kids.

Cute story: I remember shortly after getting engaged Ryan heard the song 'my person' by @spencercrandall . He sent me the link and had me listen to it! I cried & we both knew it had to be played at our wedding ( and we did ).

Just one of the many ways he shows hes loving, thoughtful, and caring.

We took our kids to their first farmers market experience and it was a big hit!

We got some fresh produce, little sandwiches, and headed over to get farm fresh meats 🩷
