POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Our Welcome Dinner. We held our intimate wedding weekend on an Italian family estate in Umbria, and every second was magic. Sharing a few of the moments that made it all so special.🕊️

Our walk down to our guests… the first moment it really hit us that all of our closest people had traveled from around the world to be there with us.

There’s so much history and love on the property, and you could feel it throughout the entire weekend. It gave every part of the weekend an incredible sense of groundedness.

We sipped bubbly and dried fruit in mismatched vintage glassware.

An abundance of love, and little ones.

We wrote handwritten notes to each of our guests, sharing stories, memories and wishes for our shared futures.

Dinner was cooked over an open fire, a feast of local meats and what was in season.

We had the most incredible light after a storm the days prior. The rain cooled the summer high temperatures that Europe has been seeing this year, and paved way for a perfect weekend of 75 and sunny.

Everything was so green and lush, too! We were so happy.

We gathered around a single long table among the property’s olive trees and grapevines. September is the height of fig and peach season in Umbria, so we built much of the menu around what was growing locally.

Welcome toast thanking everyone for their presence.

Shares lots of laughs and stories over a long, slow dinner.

…And lots of wine, which they made from all of their own grapes on the property.
