Halloween makeup is the fun part. Not fully taking it off is where your skin pays for it 🧟‍♀️

Face paint and fake blood sitting in your pores overnight is a breakout waiting to happen. And most removers strong enough to melt it off are full of hormone disrupters or stuff that clogs your pores anyway.

My friend family’s company makes the only toxin free makeup remover I’ve found that takes it all off without clogging anything. I’m obsessed!

Comment Remover below and I’ll send you the link and discount code!

Have a happy, acne free Halloween!

When you realize the @hiphop_tribe goes all out for Halloween you pull out all the stops for class! Thank goodness my best friend has mad skills.

Now I might need a makeup look for my alien costume this weekend…👽

Teaching my kids it’s important for me to have fun me things too 🤍

Lice season at school is one of those things I’d rather get ahead of than clean up after.

I have yet to find a nontoxic premade lice prevention spray! They all have polysorbates or phenoxyethanol.

So this morning my daughter’s detangler spray got a few drops of rosemary and peppermint. It smells so good and keeps the bugs away.

Save this to make yourself and send to a mom friend going through this season with you 🤍

I’ve never thought much about my bones. Then I realized how much I want to keep up with these two for the next 30 years 🤍

This calcium from @shopholistico is made from real food: upcycled eggshells + Atlantic red algae with 70+ trace minerals. Every batch is third-party tested, which I always look for.

Comment CALCIUM and I’ll send you my link for 10% off 🦴

If I can post this you can do whatever’s scaring you today!

Also I really hope this baby comes out dancing 🤰

Every week after dance, he does this. Nobody asked him to. He just sits down, takes her dance shoes off, and puts her regular shoes back on.

My favorite part of being a boy mom is raising men who will cherish the women in their lives.

It starts this small. Shoes after dance class. Holding a door. Asking “are you okay?”

Share this with your favorite boy mom 🤍

Sorry for going quiet these last couple months. First trimester had me down bad. Most days the goal was just keeping crackers down and getting both kids fed. Posting was not happening.

But I’m feeling more like myself and I’m SO happy to be back.

Baby #3 is on the way and our family is about to get a whole lot louder.

A little heads up on what’s coming here: I’m going to share a lot more of real life. Motherhood, pregnancy, and the chaos of soon having three kids. And of course toxin free living and skincare, because you know I’m obsessed and pregnancy skin is giving me plenty to talk about.

Same me, just a little more of the whole picture.

Thank you for sticking around 🤍

The last thing we need is these ingredients impacting your hormones and making your skin worse.

Oxybenzone. A chemical sunscreen filter, not the mineral kind. Hormone disruptor that can worsen hormonal acne.

Parabens and phthalates. Both preservative families, both linked to hormone disruption, both still turn up in mainstream skincare.

Resorcinol, if it's in a hair dye on your shelf. Can disrupt thyroid hormone synthesis specifically.

Comment MICROSCOPE and you can use my free tool to scan your product ingredients for toxic ingredients, hormone disrupters included.

This is honestly my least favorite skin tip and I wish it wasn’t true.

But you’re not imagining it. That crease showing up on the exact same side of your face every morning isn’t random.

Side and stomach sleeping smash your skin into the pillow for eight hours, every single night. That’s hours of pressure your skin has to recover from before you’ve even had coffee.

I’m working on switching to my back and honestly, it’s so hard. I still wake up on my side more nights than not. But it’s the one position where your skin actually gets to repair instead of fighting your pillow, so I’m sticking with it.

Comment SLEEP and I’ll send you the full details, plus the blog post that goes deep on all of it.

Two years ago I decided I was done trusting trends. I wanted to actually understand why I’d had acne for 20 years, not just try whatever was going viral that month.

That became my dual methodology, screening for toxins and comedogenic ingredients, together.

Today: clear skin for over a year, a full methodology built around it, a role as a skin specialist for a startup, and over 200 women helped using this exact approach. I quit my job and went all in.

Comment METHOD if you want the full protocol to clear your skin. A full course that walks you through step-by-step what to do, with printouts to keep you accountable, and links to products to get you there. Get rid of the guessing on your clear skin journey!

I’m not the same person I was before I had kids. Turns out this version is kind of badass.

I did not expect the amount of networking that came with owning my own business.

I get dressed up for events now more than I ever did behind a desk. But somewhere between the outfit changes I realized the bigger surprise wasn’t the getting ready part.

It was how much my mind needed something that was just mine again.

For the first time in 6 years I’m making friends that have nothing to do with my kids. Not school pickup moms, not playdate parents. People I like being around, for reasons that have nothing to do with being someone’s mom.

I’m learning more about myself every week than I have in years, and I’m not slowing down to see who she turns into next.
