the details ✨ i never knew how much planning our wedding would become such a creative outlet. i loved bringing our vision and ideas come to life and none of it would have been possible without @lauradetwilerevents 🤍

as epic and stunning as it is, @theringling is essentially a blank canvas. every chair, every fork, every light, every table, every bar, every vendor… all has to thoughtfully be chosen and brought in. every little detail came together to create a day that exceeded our wildest dreams.

when we first started thinking of our wedding vision, i wrote down three words: ethereal, angelic, and european elegance. our ceremony florals against the ca’ d’zan overlooking the water felt like watching that vision come to life.

i had the fingers removed from my wedding gloves to turn them into tube sleeves because i knew i’d never want to take them off 🤍 this way, we could still hold hands and exchange rings during the ceremony without them getting in the way.

never thought i would pour my blood, sweat, and tears into paper 😅 i told myself it was a waste to invest in something people would throw in the trash anyways, but i felt like the save the date and invitations were the first impression of our guests’ experience. my favorite touch was creating my own envelope liners to incorporate scenes from the venue.

chairs take up so much visual space, and the architecture of the ca’ d’zan is too beautiful to compete with. the clear chiavari chairs allowed the space to shine through while still feeling timeless and classic.

a seating chart that is as functional as it is beautiful 🥂 our guests arrived at the ceremony to a glass of champagne waiting for them, complete with their table number for later.

the dreamiest walk down the aisle. the florals, the chairs, the floors, all working together. and even better, these florals were repurposed throughout the reception.

no better way to kick off cocktail hour than with custom passed espresso martinis to keep the energy up and the bar lines short at cocktail hour. not pictured: the passed champagne with a mini serving of french fries attached to every glass, which were such a hit.
