ONE YEAR. I can’t believe how fast it’s flown by! A year ago, on September 5, 2024, was truly the happiest day when I married this sweet, kind, gentle, honest, pure, thoughtful, brave, resilient, wise soul that revealed himself to me in the Instagram DMs! Yep, truly a miracle from God that fell out of the virtual sky… and another miracle that I actually had the willingness and discernment to give his profile a second glance and eventually respond, and eventually meet, and eventually grow to fall in love with this would-be stranger. Our love story is not typical in many ways, but I’m pleased to report that when two willing hearts commit to putting God first and commit to one another, things work out in the most beautiful way. David, my love, I’m so grateful for this past year of your unconditional love and support, kitchen and car dance parties, nature walks, Netflix nights, romantic travels, church mornings and challenges building our new life together. I’m blessed and honored to have you by my side in every season, forever.
