🚨 Kill Instinct meets Apoptygma Berzerk 🚨

Now that's a conversation worth listening to. Toronto-based @kill_instinct hand 'Control' to none other than @apop's mastermind Stephan Groth, and the result is one of the most intriguing collaborations I've heard in quite some time.

After spending some time with it ahead of its July 3 release, I can safely say this one is worth your attention!

Some fears don't have a face. Doesn't make them any less real.

Berlin industrial dark rock duo The Unnamed Fear have released their second single, “The Unnamed Fear,” along with a rather unsettling music video.

Meet Alisha and Anto in my latest newsflash for Side-Line Magazine.

The Other have been keeping horror punk alive for over 20 years. 💀

Now they've released Other Dimensions, with new songs, rare recordings and covers.

I used the occasion to write a little more about the band, their history and the new release. Because there's quite a story behind all that horror.

One year ago, I decided to start writing again.

Interviews, reviews, music news… after quite a long break, I wanted to give it another try.

I've been involved in the music scene for around 30 years and over the past year, I've had some wonderful conversations, interviewed interesting people, written for different magazines and rediscovered how much I love asking questions and putting my thoughts into words.

There have been people who made me smile, trusted me with their stories and reminded me that what I do might actually mean something to someone.

One year later, I'm still writing.

And maybe that's something worth celebrating 💜 by @brittapirkko_interviews

Some monsters don't hide under your bed. Some live inside your head.

Suicide Commando and Assemblage 23 have something to say about that with “I Am Your Darkness.”

For Peek-A-Boo Magazine, I took a closer look at the song, the three remixers and the uncomfortable truths behind it. With a little humour, because why not? Life's hard enough already...

My lovely friend's shop @make.lanie.deko is open again! Handmade, dark and with a proper 80s twist.

Have a look and give Mekelanie some love! 🖤💜🖤💜

Just in time for Halloween! 🎃

Sebastian Komor's SRK Group drops its second single, “Bleeding Heartsicle,” today, October 30, via Infacted Recordings.

Following “Spitfire,” there's already more from the Komor camp. No rest for the wicked, apparently.
