In an absolutely stunning result, “Kidd” took home the Best Picture Short Award in last night’s closing of @flicpolson 2026. We were in the running amongst an INCREDIBLE lineup of INCREDIBLE films and to say it’s an honor to be recognized in this way is an understatement.

Thank you so much to the team of “Kidd”, our friends and family, and for all of your support for this project. I could not be more proud or grateful. More pictures of our time in Montana to come. 🙂‍↔️

FLIC: Jessica and David, you were both the MOST gracious hosts. We felt so welcome, and your kindness served as one of the many pillars for what to expect in your festival. High quality, interactive, and a hub for filmmakers who truly love the craft. THANK YOU for hosting us, and we will be back. 💙

Last night I was honored to win the @realbarrycorbin Award by @billythekidfilmfestival for “KIDD” and I’m not sure I have the words to describe the amount of gratitude I feel.

BTKFF : Thank you so much for having my short film in your festival, and thank you for showing so much support, hospitality, and love towards my team and my project. You’ve given me the best experience possible for my first Film Festival as a filmmaker and I will never forget it.

@dallassterling : Your talent, heart, and generosity through this entire process deserves awards of its own. You have changed the course of my life, and I’m so, so grateful that you’re in my life. 🩷

@phillipcharliedaniell : My friend, my mentor, my scene partner, your push and belief was the backbone of this film. Thank you for believing in me and pushing me past what I dared to believe in myself. I adore you. 🩷

@chrizpiettro : Mr. Babe, you are my rock through this entirely. From our late-night brainstorms of “what if I tried this?” to watching the Final Cut on our TV, you continue to believe and support my madness and I love you forever for it. (P.S. we’re gonna have to build a shelf or something)

Friends : This would not have been possible without you. It’s not lost on me just how much community can change someone’s world, and you are all such an important part of mine. This is OUR win, and I truly can never thank you all enough for supporting me in so many ways.

Sometimes a gal’s just gotta run away with the wolves for a bit… 🐺*

*These beautiful creatures are handled by caring professionals at all times. Do NOT attempt to approach without the supervision of a professional handler.
