My Mother had early onset Alzheimer’s diagnosed in 1982/3 in Sweden and at that time we were told there’s nothing to do to help, just go home.

For their May 1967 issue, House & Garden magazine @houseandgardenuk published a feature on Peter Sellers and Britt Ekland's luxurious modern Mayfair flat on Clarges Street in London.

The pied-à-terre was designed and decorated by Franco Nadali and Stewart Richmond Black, with Peter approving of all samples, photographs, designs and drawings.

The L-shaped living room included a superb coffee table made by Christopher Bateman with ceramic tiles specially designed by Stewart Richmond Black. Silk curtains, a Barcelona chair, a black leather Bastiano sofa complete the look. In the dining room, white Tulip chairs and a table by Eero Saarinen.

Along with the Mayfair flat, Franco Nadali also designed Peter's office on Panton Street. The decoration of the flat took about three months, while Peter and Britt were making "The Bobo".

The photographs of Peter and Britt were taken in February 1967 by Jean-Claude Sauer for Paris Match. In the sixth picture, Britt is photographed with the couple's daughter, Victoria @missvictoriasellers

The House & Garden article can be found on their website and is called "From the archive (1967) : Peter Sellers and Britt Ekland's Mayfair flat". The pictures were taken by Ray Williams.
