June Cash got to go on her first walk in Heaven this morning 😇 God knew I needed to go home this past weekend, even if I didn’t know why at the time. I’ll always be grateful that I got to be home with her and have those last moments together.
I remember the last thing I said to her before I left Sunday afternoon…“Don’t forget about me.” I know she never could. And I could never forget her. She was the most loving, loyal, and sweetest dog anyone could ever ask for. She had a way of making every person around her feel loved, and everyone deserves to be loved the way June loved.
I wish I could have one more day with her, one more hug, and one more stinky breath slobber kiss on the face. But I find comfort knowing she’s peaceful in Heaven. I’m going to miss her greeting me everytime I walk through the door, clinging to me (or mom) like velcro, running around the neighborhood chasing rabbits, jumping in peoples arms unexpectedly, sleeping under the sheets of my bed with me, going on our nightly walks, impatiently waiting for dinner time with Stevie, and getting to hunt birds with dad. I’ll be waiting for the day we get to see each other again.
Thank you for loving me, your lamby, your gator, your bird, your shark, Stevie, and even the annoying cat, along with everyone else. I hope you knew just how deeply you were loved in return. I’ll never forget my sweet baby Junie. I miss you so much🌈 by @brittenirwin
