☀️ FACULTY FEATURE: BRITTANY MARKLE!
We are so excited to welcome Brittany Markle to SOL Calgary #2 this fall! 💛 @brittmarkle

The SOL Fall Experience is almost here, and we can’t wait to be back in Calgary for an incredible day of dance, training, connection and inspiration!

Originally from Pittsburgh, Brittany began her professional career at just 9 years old as Clara in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Since then, she has built an incredible career as a professional dancer, choreographer and mentor, working with dancers and dance teams across the country.

Brittany holds a Bachelor’s degree from Pace University, specializing in Professional Communications Studies and Sports Psychology, as well as a Performing Arts Essentials certification from NYU. She has joined the guest faculty at Broadway Dance Center and has choreographed for international recording artist Jess Glynne.

Her credits include Nike, Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Disney Productions, New York Dance Project, Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve, Fresno State University, University of Pittsburgh Dance Team, the Gene Kelly Awards and more. She is also a two-time Industry Dance Awards nominee for Choreography of the Year and is represented by McDonald/Selznick Associates Talent Agency.

Beyond her professional career, Brittany has a passion for helping young dancers bridge the gap between their training and the professional industry. Through mentorship, education and choreography, she helps dancers build the tools and confidence to navigate their next steps.

We can’t wait for our Calgary dancers to experience everything Brittany will be bringing to SOL! ☀️

It’s been a week, and it still doesn’t feel real.

We were the luckiest people in the world to have you in our lives for as long as we did, but somehow that doesn’t make losing you any easier. I can’t imagine my world without your advice, your unconditional love, and your perfectly timed sarcastic remarks.

Anyone who knew you could sit for hours listening to your stories, and I have a funny feeling there are so many more that deserved to be told.

The last few years we shared were filled with milestones and memories that have become some of my most treasured. I’m so grateful we got to experience them together, and I’ll carry those moments close to my heart.

For the rest of my life, I’ll find myself asking, “What would Bababa do?” before making the big decisions. I know you’ll be watching over me… either smiling with pride or shaking your head at whatever trouble I’ve managed to get myself into.

I hope you’re singing and dancing with Gram again. Give her a hug and a kiss from us ❤️

You’ll always be my favorite person. Until we meet again, I love you. 🪽💕 by @brittmarkle

This year was, without a doubt, the most rewarding yet. 🤍✨

To the village that made the last few months magical…
Endless gratitude to every studio owner, assistant, dancer, coach, team, host, and friend who welcomed me into your space and trusted my imagination. Thank you for allowing me to explore, dream, and push ourselves to new levels.

What we created together fills me with so much pride, and I hope these pieces breathe fresh energy into your season. I cannot wait to watch them grow onstage!!

As we head into our first convention weekend, I realized that summer flew by and I never got to properly express my gratitude for an amazing couple of weeks with Energy! These are a few of my favorite people and moments that I have stashed away in my phone. Better late than never 😎

Swipe to the end to see my favorite new way to demand attention from kiddos 😂

As always, thanks for the memories.
Let’s keep building 🤍 by @brittmarkle
