I was sitting with an old friend having a conversation about how to actualise a creative idea. It’s common, and so many people don’t know where to start. And honestly it starts with a conversation
(w/ ppl with some imagination in them & belief in the idea).
I’ve been creative producing for a while and people don’t always fully understand what it is or means, but I always phrase it as making space to dream, then giving those dreams legs with practicality, action and finding the right team to help make it come to life.
Never underestimate your idea, your song, script, concept and who would love to be in your corner.

Keep the ideas coming.

August has been full and I felt sooo tired but took time to rest for a minute, look back and realised it was full of life in the best way.
Weddings, engagements, friends, babies, building businesses and artists.
Grateful to my crazy loving community and most of all @bigdavehoare for being a rock and up for all the big dreams.

I’ll add this …pray, work and believe for the good of your community and you’ll see miracles happen.

“There are more people who are willing to come together and do stuff than I think people realise. And sometimes we’re shy, sometimes we’re introvert, sometimes we don’t think we’re enough, and I think that stops us from connecting, and it shouldn’t.

I think we should push on and get over ourselves. Because it’s not just about myself or yourself it’s about something bigger and bringing something to the world…

Coming together, specifically at Greenhouse, I can see this pouring out with life; I can see music notes; I can see pictures and colours and other things coming into places that are otherwise pale and thats the power of being together. And I think some people are afraid of that, be whoever “they” are, maybe afraid ourselves, but there’s a power and a strength here together… I can see that being that next thing that’s booming especially in Sydney. I can see a waking up, and then encouraging each other, ‘let’s do this.’”

Often we leave out the hard parts that come when “dreaming things to life” starts taking motion.
The action you take forward somehow pushes against an unseen barrier, trying to set you back or knock you down into “your place.”

It’s real—and it’s wild.

But there’s something glorious about being close to God in those moments when you’re down, when your vision recentres, and you get back up (again).
Well—more like pulled up, haha.
By a tried and true companion: Jesus.
What a real saving grace in the midst of building and growing.
A real force. A real friend.

Endlessly thankful for Him.

And so very thankful for my community—who push me forward and keep me looking up.
