Let’s talk bodies …… ❤️

Building muscle as a woman means learning to trust the process, even when the scales go up and your body starts to look different from the one you’re used to.

Bulking isn’t just about gaining weight. It’s about building muscle, getting stronger and becoming comfortable with the process of change.

THIS is your reminder that the body you want might weigh more than you think!

And just because you’ve never tried something before doesn’t mean you shouldn’t give yourself the chance.

You don’t have to shrink yourself to be proud of your body.

Remember, strength isn’t just a look.
It’s who you become. ❤️

Shaping her
Losing her
Finding her
Growing her
Becoming her

I think every woman can resonate with these words at some stage of her life.

The circumstances might be different. The experiences might look different.

But the feelings?

They can be the same.

Through motherhood
Through loss
Through age
Through change

We spend so much of our lives becoming different versions of ourselves

Sometimes we lose parts of who we were

Sometimes we find parts we never knew existed

Sometimes we have to grow into a woman we haven’t met yet

And maybe none of those versions of us was ever better than another

Maybe each one was simply a part of the journey

This is what being a woman feels like to me.

And wherever you are in your journey, I hope you know that you don’t have to be finished becoming to be worthy of who you are right now. ❤️

Apparently women are supposed to be:

Smaller, but not too small.
Curvier, but not too curvy.
Healthy, but don’t eat too much.
Strong, but don’t look “too muscular.”
Confident, but don’t show too much.
A mum, but still look like you’re not a mum.
Getting older, but somehow… don’t age.

And whatever you do…

DON’T take up too much space.

Honestly? What the hell?

I’m done trying to be the version of a woman that makes everyone else comfortable.

Eat the cookie.
Lift the weights.
Wear the thing.
Take up the space.
Change your body.
Don’t change your body.

You don’t owe anyone a version of you that makes them comfortable.

Be too much.
Be not enough.
Be exactly who you are.

And if your too much trust me another woman will remind you 😡 don’t be that woman!

Just be YOU. 🖤

Somehow people are watching and yet not watching it’s not adding up 😂

Apparently, you just can’t win!

Post every day? Judged.
Be a woman? Judged.
Be a mum? Judged.
Change your body? Judged.
Don’t change your body? Judged.
Be confident? Judged.
Be proud of yourself? Judged.
Take up space? Judged.
Know your worth? Judged.

At some point, you have to stop living your life trying to avoid other people’s opinions.

Because someone will always have something to say.

You’re too much for some
Not enough for others
And somehow, even just existing is enough to invite an opinion.

So here’s your reminder:

You don’t need permission to grow, change, be proud, take up space or be unapologetically yourself.

Let them judge

You’re too busy living and for me eating a muffin ❤️

Being constantly bombarded with everyone else’s highlights can mess with your head sometimes…

So I’m just here to remind you what is normal!

A little reminder that what you consume should INSPIRE you, not make you question yourself, your life or what’s actually NORMAL.

Take the inspiration, leave the comparison

Because behind every perfectly curated feed is a real person, living a real life… and real life isn’t always pretty, polished or Instagram-worthy

And that’s absolutely OK ❤️

I just love our community 🥰

Met Brit at the gym and we instantly decided we had to have a session and of course it was lower

Brit is trying to grow her quads so she took me through her session today 🔥

Sometimes it’s good to train with someone who is targeting different areas to you- quads is never really my main focus so I sure as hell felt this one

Of course we finished messing around in the posing room 👯‍♀️

Don’t forget to HAVE FUN too!

I really wanted to use this as a reminder to speak to the people you see in the gym regularly, people may look scary but trust me we are all there for the same thing and when you actually take time to speak to each other you may just make some friends who have something in common with you

Side note- we did not plan our outfits we just both turned up in blue today 🤣💙 by @britts_bits_gets_fit

Nonchalance is not for me! ❤️

I don’t want to care less, I want to care MORE!

I want to be passionate about the things I love.
To try, even when I might fail.
To work hard for the things I want.
To believe in myself, even when others don’t.
To be unapologetically who I am.
To celebrate others without feeling threatened.
To keep showing up, even when nobody is clapping.

And I’ll never understand why we’ve made not caring look like the ultimate goal.

Be someone who cares
Be someone who tries
Be someone who feels everything
Be someone who gives a damn

Another week bulking, another check-in, which means ANOTHER transition… 😂

At this point, the transitions deserve their own fitness category. 💅🏼

The bulk continues… 🍑
