Here’s my biggest takeaways from @lineonehair Art of Business and Extensions 2026 event:1. Rushing will never feel like a luxury experience. To charge a luxury price point you’ll need to be intentional and efficient, but never rushed. 2. Many extension artists don’t realize what a truly full constulation even looks like….this one hit me hard. @andreahenty talked about the difference between being a stylist who offers extensions vs being a true specialist. The techniques and details were a huge piece but when she broke down the @bomanesalon multi-step consultation standards I was beyond impressed. I’ve studied consultation for years and haven’t seen something like this. 3. The little details are the big details. When you’re offering a $2,000+ service everything matters. Line One is eliminating swatch rings, rethinking hair storage (no more ziploc bags or plastic bins), prioritizing hair back stock (in a way that is affordable for stylists) all so that the presentation and execution to the client is extremely elevated. This event was just different. Yes, this was a space where talking about making money and running a successful business was prioritized, but it wasn’t ever about prioritizing a method, it was prioritizing the guest, the marketing, the communication and the presentation in such an incredible way. The presentation matches the price point and the difference was tangible. Thank you Andrea and to the entire Lineone team for including me in such an inspiring day 💗 by @brittseva
