🍂 Nothing like a crisp fall morning with beautiful leaves and good company 😍 🍁

This trail was a GOOD ONE!!!

🚨 But you have to plan ahead! You have to get a free parking pass online - the trailhead is within a gated community and there is very limited parking at the trail head. https://conservingcarolina.org/youngs-mountain/

🚨 Not a great trail for the kiddos- there’s some steep drop offs. We had two weenie doggos with us and they did fine 🐾🤎

Pre-hike ☕️- @openroadcoffee - big, spacious coffee shop with awesome coffee and tasty breakfast options. The location is great! Was right on the way to the trail head.

📍 Youngs Mountain - Lake Lure, NC
- 4.5 miles, Out & Back
- 🔸 Moderate

Post hike 🍔 & 🍺- @newgroovebrew
- SUPER dog friendly- the whole staff loved on the dogs and gave treats 🤎🥰

A BIG thanks to @conservingcarolina for making this trail available and keeping it maintained for us to enjoy. It’s a GOOD one! We appreciate all they do!

▪️Day Three in Oregon▪️

The Trail of Ten Falls is listed as 7.4 miles on all trails, 8.6 miles at the trail head and we clocked right at 9 miles. This was our favorite trail of the trip. Of course... the waterfalls were breathtaking but so were the trees! Also, the PNW blessed us with its notorious weather on this day making this scenery even more stunning!

Happy fur-st birthday to this sweet little man. We're so lucky to have this goofy, handsome cuddle bug in our pack. I can't imagine life without this little guy. ❤️🎂 by @brivan89

Took the dogs out a canoe trip today. It was Brulee's first trip and definitely wore her out. Followed up with a yummy slushy at @keoweebrewing.
