I’m so blessed to finally say I’m a first-generation college graduate. Choosing discomfort, knowing struggle would come, was never easy but paving the way never is.

For me it meant, learning to sit in classrooms where I was visible and invisible at the same time. It looked like reading canvas notifications while watching systems fail people who look like me. Yet I smiled through the contradiction, push through the dissonance, and reminded myself why it matters even if it felt heavy and unfair.

This journey changed me. And knowing those who come after me will have a clearer path makes every sacrifice worth it.

Thank you to God and my loved one’s support. Another degree added to my collection: Bachelor’s in Animal Sciences & Industry 🐮🧬 by @briye.b
