Yesterday we visited the Interior Design Trade Show at the @royalwilliamyd, organised by the talented Year 2 students at @aup_interiors ✨

It’s always one of our favourite local industry events, with lots of inspiration and great conversations throughout the afternoon.

Another wonderfully organised event, and a real reminder of the creativity and emerging talent coming through locally 👏

✨ Planning Approved ✨

We’re pleased to share that planning permission has been granted for one of our residential scheme in Plymouth.

The proposal delivers six three-bedroom family homes, arranged over three storeys, with private gardens, dedicated parking and carefully considered landscaping. The design responds closely to the surrounding residential context, combining contemporary architecture with materials that sit comfortably within the local streetscape.

With planning now secured, the project is moving forward into the technical design and pre-construction stage — an exciting next step for this thoughtfully designed development 🏡✨

✨ Design Inspiration ✨

We had to share this beautiful flooring detail from the Porcelanosa Exeter showroom — a stunning mix of stone and wood-effect tiles, perfectly finished with a recessed flush LED transition. The tones and textures work so effortlessly together 🤍🌿

We were back at the showroom yesterday for an Interior Smartphone Photography Masterclass, and couldn’t resist capturing a few favourites while we were there.

The session was led by @jennykphotos, who shared so many brilliant tips and tricks for photographing interiors — incredibly useful and inspiring 📸✨

A huge thank you to the Porcelanosa team for hosting (and for the lovely hospitality!) and to Jenny for such a valuable session 🙌

From materials and textures to lighting and layout, every corner offered something to take away. Such a great reminder of how thoughtful design and quality finishes can transform a space.

A big thank you to the team at Porcelanosa Exeter for inviting us over — such a brilliant visit and so much inspiration ✨

✨ From Concept to Reality ✨

Sample boards are an essential part of the design process 🎨📐

They bring together finishes, textures, and materials in one place — helping our clients visualise how different elements will work together in their space.

By seeing and feeling materials side by side, clients can be confident that everything from flooring and fabrics to wall finishes and lighting will complement each other seamlessly.

It’s where ideas start to come to life — and where a design truly begins to take shape 🌿✨

✨ Office Design in Progress ✨

We’ve been developing the design for a new workplace project in Plymouth — a space that will combine functionality with a contemporary, welcoming atmosphere 🖥️🌿

This concept explores a communal space that sets the tone with a contemporary, high-end feel — modern, welcoming, and rooted in its surroundings. The scheme is still in development with the client, but our vision focuses on creating a workplace that encourages collaboration, productivity, and wellbeing.

It’s always exciting to see ideas evolve at this stage — where creativity and possibilities shape the final outcome 👀✨
