Another fabric collab with another amazing Utah artist! I am in 🖤 with this!!! ☕️🚲💀🦝🐋🐝. I met Tattoo artist Britt Whitaker at the WomenMTB women’s bike retreat in Moab this spring, where she was doing flash tattoos. My two friends and I all got matching bike tattoos. A couple months later, my friends/customers came over. Dani was secretly bringing Mike here to get his bike measured for a b-day surprise. While we were hanging out, choosing fabrics, and showing off our Britt tattoos, Mike had a brilliant idea: “What if Britt made a flash tattoo sheet we could print onto fabric for bike bags?” So we ask Britt and she was totally into it! Mike requested PUNK with, bikes, coffee, and some underground Utah flavor and Britt got right to work. The result is this absolutely bad ass flash sheet, now printed on fabric and ready to become bike bags. 🖤 I love that this collaboration grew out of women supporting women, and then a dude supporting two women artists by having a very good idea. This fabric is available for custom bags now. I’ll be adding all the new fabric collaborations to the website asap. If you want anything, message me here or email me at sales@broadforkbags. Okay, I’ve been pretty excited about this one. Back in April I met Anna Bugbee @annabugbeestudio on a RAR women’s only bikepacking trip in Wendover called Salt and Silver. Somewhere between riding bikes, exploring caves, camping and talking about all the things we do, Anna told me about her artwork and I immediately thought, I want that on a bike bag! 😃. Fast forward a few months and here it is. Anna is a Salt Lake City printmaker whose work is inspired by Alpine geography and botanical diversity of the intermountain West. It feels pretty special to take something inspired by the places we ride and turn it into something that gets to actually GO riding. The fabric is now available for custom bike bags, so if you’ve been wanting a frame bag, handlebar bag, or something custom made from this print send me a message! Check out Anna’s work.
