We celebrated our 10th year anniversary with a vow renewal and invited only @thefoxandtheivy to capture these absolutely beautiful photos as we exchanged our vows once again🥀

When we first married, we didn’t write our own vows and we didn’t do a first look. We were simply focused on saying “I Do.” So this time, we took months to plan a weekend just for us💕

Libby redesigned her wedding dress, we took intentional time to write our vows, and arranged our wedding memorabilia for a flat lay since we never had one before😅 and there in the freezing cold we remembered the emotions we felt right before committing to a lifetime💋

We don’t have much marriage advice to offer aside from this: ignore the haters. Over the past 10 years, we’ve been told our marriage will fail at least half a dozen times. We’ve been called lucky, felons, and yes, even pirates by people who once were close friends, but we always stood for each other against all odds. So our advice? Ignore the haters and press onward🏴‍☠️

We exclusively capture couples on their wedding day. We like to be involved as much as possible in the wedding planning process which could mean an engagement session, a surprise engagement session, timeline adjustments, vendor recommendations, and maybe you wanna just grab a drink sometime?🥃

We do not connect with couples looking for a touch and go experience. The style you see in our photos and videos is accomplished through relationship development.

We earn respect through conversations and problem solving strategies leading up to your wedding day involving memories you wish to be captured🖤

We’re EXTREMELY pro communication and in order to maintain that quality clientele experience we limit our seasons to 20 weddings per year. This allows us to communicate swiftly to each couple who have access to their own individual text thread where they can reach out to us whenever they need assistance or just want to chat🏴‍☠️

We also prioritize photoshoots for ourselves in order to not only experiment with poses for our own couples, but also support our local community of photographers💋

More from Abigail and Mark’s wedding day, and I loved how the whole room felt like friends gathering with family, everyone there ready to actually celebrate these two so nothing felt posed or forced.

Walking through their wedding reception you could see it immediately: moments unfolding without anyone having to ask for them, people being themselves because the atmosphere made space for it, friends who showed up like they’d been waiting for the excuse to celebrate together, family wrapped in genuine joy watching these two surrounded by people who actually matter.

These wedding photos hold the texture of their day; the small moments that build into something timeless, and because here’s the thing about authentic weddings, when everyone shows up as themselves the photography reveals something real, something that doesn’t need to be manufactured or staged.
