Broadturn Farm, the venue. Did you know we host weddings and events? We are currently booking 2026 and 2027 dates, so schedule a tour soon to see the best of what the farm has to offer!

From John Bliss, co-owner & venue coordinator -
“Gathering up a bouquet of friends and family, a wedding is nothing less than the embodiment of community in joy. ‘Collective effervescence’ as Stacy likes to say. Hosting weddings at Broadturn Farm is our opportunity to get up close to this experience. We’ve been doing it for longer than any other enterprise. We grew vegetables for 15 years; we had livestock for over a decade; we had a summer camp on the property, and now we grow flowers. Well over a hundred weddings have blossomed at Broadturn. Yes, we love doing it.”

Why are dahlias so expensive you may wonder? One of the many reasons is pest protection! We use a variety of methods for keeping dahlia loving critters off the blooms, including covering some beds with a netted tunnel and bagging individual buds of the most sought after colors. All of these procedures make harvesting more challenging and time consuming. And sometimes the wind just takes it all down! The plants always reward us with astonishing beauty in the end. by @broadturn_farm

The fall equinox is in 2 weeks and I need you to spend it with me wandering my favorite flower farm, receiving messages from blooms, and then lying down listening to cryatal sound bowls! 🥰🌺

September 22nd at @broadturn_farm in Scarborough!

Here is how the evening unfolds…. We begin by wandering through the blooming fields!🌻 Every flower carries its own vibration, its own medicine, its own message. And when you slow down enough to actually listen, it is kind of amazing what comes through.

Then we’ll settle on our mats and let the sounds take over to soothe you! You’ll be washed in the vibrations of crystal singing bowls, chimes, gong, human voice and the hum of the earth herself moving through you. 🍂

This one feels extra extra magical because it lands right on the Fall equinox! That perfect in-between moment when summer is loosening her grip and autumn is already leaving little hints everywhere.

Come to release what summer stirred & receive what autumn is already whispering, while being held by the vibrations of flowers and sound.

Bring your mat, blankets, a cozy layer for the evening air, and your most open heart.

A typical Tuesday. Of fog lifting harvests, wrapping up season long projects (YEAH Meg + Gradeigh), big ole @maineflowercollective order out the door, trying to coax Billy Cat towards us, lunch naps, CSA slinging, and miscellaneous whale spouts forming. Oh late summer, oh typical Tuesday, you are full, you are chaotic, you are good. by @broadturn_farm
