So thankful for the amazing experiences I’ve had lately… grab life by the heart because you’re a long time dead…❤️❤️❤️ by @brocardecollection

“Thudding heartbeat, glazed expression,
In Variable forms, your first impression.
With patience always wearing thin,
comes skin that’s made of porcelain.

Cross my heart I’m already dead,
Sweet mallow fluff inside my head.
Give me guts and give me glory,
serve me as your favourite bedtime story.

Unbreakable stitches, lace and leather,
Does my name badge state unlucky Heather?
At the end of the day, when all is lost,
Just throw me back in your toy box.” by @brocardecollection

Happy International Women’s Day - Behind every perfectly posed photo there’s often a million tears, a million conflicting thoughts and a million insecurities, there’s smoke and there’s mirrors. When we look into the mirror what do we see? Does it mirror what the world sees? Is the person staring back someone we recognise? Someone we love. People often preach about self love? It’s so overused it’s almost a clique, but what does self love even mean? What does it mean to you? To me it means to love yourself, to take care of yourself in a way that nurtures your inner child, to give that inner child the love and security and safety that it craves from others and to penultimately provide it for yourself. We wouldn’t want our five year old self to feel hurt, scared, angry or confused, we’d want them to feel protected and cherished, so try to protect and cherish yourself. Recognise in others when extra care is needed, because a world of love diminishes bruises. #internationalwomensday #selflove #selfcare #girlpower by @brocardecollection
