We could not be more proud of the fight and determination from this team this week. Despite many adversities we fought our way to a gold medal in game-day!!

We are thrilled to welcome Coach Meg to our program as our Head coach! Here are a few words from her:

“Hey everyone! I’m Coach Meg!

I’ve been doing this whole cheer thing for almost two decades, starting as an athlete myself and eventually making my way into coaching full-time.

I currently coach at a small gym in Brantford, Impact Cheer Athletics, where I’m the Program Director and coach four teams. Last season, I had the opportunity to coach Youth Team Canada, where we finished 2nd at ICU Worlds.

This season, with Team Ontario no longer existing, I was looking for something new, and this opportunity kind of fell into my lap! Since moving to Grimsby about a year ago with my hubby and our two-year-old, the timing felt right to take on a new challenge and bring my experience to a university program.

I’ve had the opportunity to experience cheer from so many different perspectives over the years, both as an athlete and a coach, and I’m so excited to pass that knowledge on to all of you.

My goal this season is to bring knowledge, organization, and excitement to this program while creating a team environment where everyone feels supported, challenged, and proud to be a part of the Brock University Cheer Club.

I’m SO excited to get started and to see what we can accomplish together this season!”
