Samford University is excited to name Bradley E. Lail, PhD, CPA, as dean of Brock School of Business, effective July 1, 2026, following a national search.👏

Lail brings a strong background in academic leadership, student-focused innovation and financial accounting research. He currently serves as associate dean at Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business and has prior experience in both academia and industry.

As dean, Lail will lead Brock School of Business in advancing academic excellence, strengthening experiential learning and deepening the integration of faith and business in preparing students for meaningful careers.

Friday afternoon was a special one as we celebrated the dedication of our new Sports Industry Program student space and the expansion of the Andrews-White-Cooney Center for Sports Analytics.🏈

Students, faculty, alumni, donors and industry partners gathered to celebrate a milestone that reflects the growth of one of the nation's leading faith-based sports business programs.
