Zion National Park in trunks. Not a standard approach to taking in a breathtaking landscape, nor a good approach. A really poor approach is more accurate (as pointed out to me by numerous hiking groups, 2x school bus drivers and 1 rather offended national park ranger).

Oh for goodness sake he cooks too??1! 😭

Prep 10 meals worth of delicious brisket while you sleep 😮‍💨

You’ll need:
2 - 3kg/ 4.5 - 6.5 lbs of brisket
Your favourite brisket rub
Onion powder/ garlic powder/ paprika, salt, pepper
Dijon mustard

Sauce:
1 cup low sugar tomato sauce
1 cup worcestershire sauce
½ cup apple cider vinegar
Splash of soy sauce
2 teaspoons chopped garlic
1 teaspoon of dijon mustard
Sprinkle brown sugar
Chillies if so inclined

Rub the brisket with your rub, seasoning and mustard (go with your heart re amounts)

Leave to marinade for a few hours if you can be bothered.

Combine the sauce, dunk the meats.

Cook overnight (8 - 10 hours) in the slow cooker.

Remove the meats and reduce the sauce on the stove until thickened.

Throw the brisket in the oven for 30 mins on 220C/425F total, adding sauce on top every 10 mins.

If you’re being careful about calories, don’t add sauce once cooked and pulled apart. Otherwise, add a tablespoon or 2 to each serving for tastemaxxing purposes. Each with pickles and or rice. For an easy way to stay on top of food intake. by @brockwaugh
