Reducing wastage is an everyday goal in our kitchen. So many products were added to the menu in that process. This is one such.
Pistachios are ground and the fine powder is used to make the marzipan for the princess cake. The leftover chunky pistachio is made into a butter and then this pistachio bun. Citrus curd to add a zing.

When we first opened the bakery, we remember many of you driving down the ECR on weekends for breakfast at Brød—sometimes just to the store, or coming after a surf session with dogs in tow and feet still sandy. We saw you every weekend and fondly started calling you city peeps 😀

A few months ago, we found a quaint little spot with possibility to have outdoor seating under the trees, tucked behind the Ogaan store on Haddows Road. In a partnership with our friends at Ogaan, we opened a mini Brød—so you city folks can now drop in on weekdays too. Everything is baked fresh in our main kitchen to maintain consistency, and you’ll find all your favourites at the city space.
