Villanova 31’

I am extremely excited to announce my commitment to play Division 1 lacrosse at Villanova University. First, I’d like to thank my parents, brother, and sister for their endless support and sacrifices along the way. A huge thank you to Prime Time and Coach Daniello for supporting me and guiding me throughout this process. I’d also like to thank Coach Goldman, Coach Madalon, Coach Pirie and Coach White. Also to all my teammates, thank you for pushing me to become a better person and player.

Lastly, I want to thank Coach Corrado, Coach Miller, Coach Mita, and the entire Villanova staff for this amazing opportunity.

Prime Time 2027 & Avon Old Farms defender Brody Root commits to Villanova!

A ⭐️⭐️⭐️ recruit by both the National Lacrosse Federation and Inside Lacrosse, Brody is one of the most versatile defenders in the Class of 2027 — cementing his place among the nation’s best.

A physical presence who’s elite off the ground and dangerous in transition, Brody is a proven 🔒down defender with a knack for stepping up in the biggest moments against top competition.

We can’t wait to see what’s next at Villanova. Congrats, Brody! #MoldingChampions #wildcats taken in Villanova University by @brody_root1
