Thank you Wrestling…

The last 5 years have been a huge rollercoaster of ups and downs going from practicing once a week to almost 20 times a week I’ve put my all into it working hard everyday putting myself out there and traveling I have no one else to thank other than my family friends teammates and coaches for pushing me and keeping me in this sport I never reached the level I wanted to or been able to pursue goals I had in mind but at least I had fun doing it. My first match of junior year I believed it was the start of my come up and I was gonna do great things from there until I broke my arm again requiring surgery putting me out for the season on the way to the ER I had told my dad to get rid of everything and sell it I thought I was gonna be done forever and had accepted the fact I was done until I had gotten cleared in early march and wrestled at NHSCA Virginia Beach Nationals then continuing to wrestle every weekend at some kind of freco tournament anywhere ended up qualifying for Fargo and going to Fargo which I had never thought after breaking my arm was possible and then the season started and I didn’t have much high hopes until I started winning a lot and doing great the weekend of February 14th I lost my first match at lower state and I thought it was over and I was gonna lose my next match and not go to state but then I won the next 3 matches placing me top 6 and qualifying for state. I’ve had a great experience with this sport and the most fun with the best people ever. by @brodym025
