🎩New Album - Everyday Magic - Out Now🎩

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

My new album, “Everyday Magic” is now out everywhere! 🫧

I’m very lucky to have made such great memories this past year while working on this record.

I’ll never forget the day that the legendary Charlie McCoy came to the studio and tracked harmonica on “Top Half Of An Empty Mind”. At 85 years old, he blows one hell of a harp and has some serious wit about him. I could see why Bob Dylan might’ve followed him to Nashville all those years ago.

Another special day was when “The Sunshine Choir” came over to the studio and recorded gang vocals on “Over and Over (Hell Yeah)”. Who’s the sunshine choir? Basically some of my best friends in the whole world and some of my deepest connections I’ve formed while living here in Nashville. After they finished tracking they went in the yard to play frisbee and chit-chat, which made it quite hard to focus the rest of that session. All love though.

The last thing we did tracking wise was the acoustic guitar solo on “Melt”. I walked to my car to grab something afterwards, feeling amazing having just finished, and there were 7 or 8 deer in the yard, justttt looking at me.

In many ways, I’ve dreamed of this project my whole life, I’m proud of it for sure, but my main feeling is gratefulness. With that, I’d like to thank my collaborators (you should hire them), my friends, my teachers, my fellow journeymen, my ancestors, my inspirations, and my ever loving family. I’m a very very lucky dude.

This album is dedicated to our beautiful planet which provides a home for gratitude, hope, laughter, adventure, love, and rhythm. That’s the kind of magic I try to take with me everyday.

Hope you enjoy :) by @brodyschenk
