A year ago, I never would have guessed that one of my favorite parts of the day would be sweeping flower petals.

After being laid off, I was devastated. The job market was discouraging and I honestly felt lost. I got a job at a garden center in my neighborhood, thinking it would simply be a way to make some extra cash while I figured out my next move.

Instead, it has given me something I didn’t know I needed.

I’ve spent the last few months surrounded by beautiful flowers, fresh air, and kind people. It’s funny how life can lead you somewhere you never expected, and somehow exactly where you needed to be. 🥀 by @broganepure

Artistic interpretation… heavy on the interpretation. 😆 by @broganepure

Eight years of marriage with you has taught me that love is a fresh glass of water on my nightstand every night (even though I won’t drink it), making sure I take a break from work to eat lunch, aerating my $12 bottle of wine before pouring me a glass, giving me the comfy seat on an airplane, waking me up with a kiss each morning before I brush my teeth, and putting my seat warmer on high before I even get in. My list could go on, but you get it. I love you 🩷 @garrettepure by @broganepure
