You won’t find this in any video of mine since I didn’t film this convention! This absolutely AMAZING commission was done by the talented @ryandraws2 at the last Rhode Island Comic Con!

When you give this man the time to work he exceeds expectations with anything you give him! Unfortunately I was so blown away I forgot to get a picture with Ryan and this piece😭. But that’s okay, I’ll be sure to take one with the next commission I pickup soon😉.

Halloween is almost upon us and I need to show off some more comics!

Here is House of Secrets issue 100 from 1972, a classic Bernie Wrightson cover that I picked up from @buzzcomics1980 down in Heroes Con last year! This is my first comic from this run and only makes me want to pick up more amazing comics from this series.

What’s your favorite cover or comic from this series?

Over the past weekend I took part in just the last stop of the @3meninabasement Fall Comic Crawl in CT. While I couldn’t make it to the first two stops, all the guys came down to @sargescomics which is my LCS so I had to make it to that at least! I didn’t end up filming so these are all of my pickups!

1st - Batman & Robin Adventures Annual 1 (Traded with @davechinmo ).
2nd - Detective Comics 823, just an awesome Poison Ivy cover found in the basement!
3rd - Detective Comics 469, 1st appearance of Dr. Phosphorus and Rupert Thorne!
4th - Batman 207, a beautiful silver age find.
5th - The Atom 26, 1st appearance of the Bug-Eyed Bandit!

Thanks 3MIB for another fun event and it was fun hanging out with everyone who came!

It’s the month of October and I fell like I’ve already slacked in posting some spooky comics so here’s a random issue from the collection!

This is Swamp Thing issue 110 from 1991 with this killer cover from John Higgins. I haven’t picked up Swamp Thing in a while but looking through my box recently made me itch for it again! As well as I need to eventually read Alan Moore’s run!

Hope to post a few more before Halloween!

I wasn’t as active on Instagram this past Batman Day but I figured a dedicated post was still in order!

This is Detective Comics issue 476, featuring the classic story “The Sign of the Joker” from 1978. Pairing a great story with this amazing cover really makes this comic a must have for any Batman lover!

Happy belated Batman Day to all those who celebrated, one way I celebrated was hanging out with @themagiclasso and @signature_king_tony reviewing this very book! Along with a few others on their show “Fanboys Live & the Retro Review” which you can check out on YouTube now! Thanks again for having me guys!

This post for #teamuptuesday is one that I’ve been wanting to do for a while!

This is The Brave and the Bold, vol 3, issue 33. The significance of this issue is that it is a tie in to one of the greatest stories in Batman history… The Killing Joke!
In this story Zatanna has a vision of what will happen to Barbara Gordon and it is a very fun read!

I picked this issue up last year during Heroes Con!

I’m so excited for @terrificon_ct all weekend long! Here is a book I plan to get signed by the cover artist @e.m.gist this weekend.

This is Swamp Thing Vol. 7, issue 9. I first found this book in an antique store as was immediately drawn to the oil painting style of his artwork. This along with another cover of his will be getting signed! Happy to have found some art by this artist before seeing him in person!
