Greatness (Life Within) featuring @mangasainthilare

First single hailing from Eahwee’s forthcoming album Mighty Healthy on BROKEN EAR RECORDS

London beat scene contributor Eahwee has been a staple in the scene for crafting and curating his own rhythm. He brings a unique sound, characterised by infectious sample chopping techniques and patterns. Which come second only to his shuffling and obscure psychedelic drums that are truly reminiscent of African polyrhythmic sounds.

‘Greatness (Life Within)’ was brought to life when Eahwee linked up with Grime veteran Manga Saint Hilaire on BBC 1xtra’s on air demo with @casskidd The two heavyweights of the UKs underground connect to create a sonic pallet which is as much inventive, as it is diverse with its boundary pushing genre of hip-hop.

Eahwee’s mix of rhythmic percussion and syncopated melodies draw nostalgic emotions within the listener, filled with internal vibration from the ancestral plane. His music is the unexpected yet quintessential companionship to Manga’s gritty, introspective and thought-provoking bars. They come together perfectly to design one of the most innovative and unique soundscapes Britain has ever been graced with.

#warpsamples (25)
Gospel sample chops blended with Grime, crossed with Lo-Fi and seasoned with thumping cadence driven by chanting expressions from the African diaspora and beyond.

‘Greatness (Life Within)’ was brought to life when Eahwee linked up with Grime veteran Manga Saint Hilaire from Roll Deep on BBC 1xtra’s on air demo with Casskid.
