The 6th edition of Broken Noise will be our biggest yet. And we couldn’t be more excited! 🔥

We’re going to be back at OXI again, and this time we’re expanding across two floors at @oxi_club

The O Floor moves into the deeper and darker side of techno: focused, physical, hypnotic.

The X Floor takes a different route, drifting between experimental electronics, breakbeats, ambient textures and open-ended forms.

Two floors. Two directions. One night moving between listening and dancing.

We’re delighted to welcome @pepeperoni_bouquet for the fourth episode of our podcast series!

Bouquet is a Berlin based DJ whose style ranges from atmospheric ambient to deep, hypnotic techno.
His music unfolds a distinct atmosphere where emotional depth merges with physical movement. Bouquet invites listeners to explore new forms of dance and emotional journeys.

This set explores the feeling of uncertainty and overcoming fears about changes in life. Starting the journey with mystery of what will happen and building up to progressive fast forward driving places leading to a peak of sounds before entering a deep heaviness. After mental abstract chaos ending it all in hopeful and positive scenery.

@waltergrob.re and @pi.nky_68 will be closing our event tonight in style

The sound of Pinky and Walter Grob finds its roots in a deep connection to electronic dance music, techno, and the power of rhythm and sound as a form of pure expression.

After sharing their childhood in Lübeck, the paths of Pinky, co-founder and resident of the NRW-based schick.standort collective, and Walter Grob, co-founder and resident of the Baden-Württemberg-based association Rennbahn e.V., crossed through their shared passion for electronic music and its culture, as well as several B2Bs in Heidelberg, Münster, and Karlsruhe.

Now, we are happy to present them for their Berlin debut at Oxi.

@aaalex.levin will be joining us on Thursday, for a very special set.

We had the pleasure to record an interview with him and hear about his inspiration.

For Alex Levin, techno is at its best when it is both physical and cerebral. His sets bring together shuffled rhythms, heavy textures, tension, intensity and introspection, drawing often from different shades of techno and electronic music.

Years of listening and playing have led him to explore the relationship between sound, energy, tension and emotion, and how these elements can come together through musical narration. This ongoing exploration has gradually developed into a more philosophical outlook on the DJ mix, where unexpected connections between tracks can open up new horizons.

His roots are in queer collectives, where he helped shape a corner of the underground through music, forward-thinking programming and hosting important underground artists. His sets have taken him to Berghain’s Klubnacht and SNAX on multiple occasions.

Unfortunately due to illness @nadine_talakovics won’t be able to play for us on the 10th of September, but @yyongying will be stepping in to take her place.

YONG YING is a Berlin-based DJ from Hong Kong. Her sets move through techno, industrial, broken beats, noise, ebm, and distorted electronics, dissolving genre boundaries into dark, visceral atmospheres.

YONG YING has performed at clubs including Tresor, OXI, Renate, ÆDEN, and KHIDI in Georgia, as well as Kiosk in Switzerland. She is a resident at 宀 Club in Hong Kong and SKIN CONTACT BERLIN, and a member of the ENTROPY 熵 collective.

Her sound has travelled across Asia with appearances at Groundless Factory in Beijing, OIL 油 in Shenzhen, and Volnost in Seoul, reflecting an ongoing dialogue between Asian underground communities and Berlin’s experimental club landscape.

@mronline007 will be playing on our experimental floor and will be showcasing low end driven dance adjacent music that breaks the barrier between club standards and experimental noise.

A journey through the bpm range will shift between drowning subfrequencies and the sounds of a broken DAW.

We’re super excited to welcome the one and only @paolinemagnus for a very special liveset at @oxi_club on the 10th of September

Paoline is a Belgium-born, Berlin-based artist whose music blends processed breakbeats with atmospheric synthesizers and vocals. She began playing the guitar at the age of seven and was writing and performing music with her band by her teens.

After studying Music Production at the Conservatory of Ghent, she felt creatively in a box. In 2024 she moved to Berlin and started her solo project. She now expands her practice by incorporating modular synthesis and instrument creation in the Funkhaus Berlin.

@elfystonem is an electronic musician focusing on sound design and experimental approaches to synthesis. Growing up in the UK, she has been very inspired by the bass scene.

More recently noise practices have influenced her process and listening. Maize seeks to explore the coexistence of abrasive and gentle sounds, the perception and meaning-making which arises from tension. by @broken.noize
