I genuinely believe that if we’re not in business to first add value, then we shouldn’t be in business at all.

Of course, we wanna make money but the market doesn’t care about our desires to become multimillionaires or retire our parents.

When developing our brands, the question should ALWAYS be, ā€œHow is this adding value?ā€ Answering this question objectively will better position your brand in the marketplace and make you wayyy more money in the long run. by @brokenchainmarketing

You didn’t lose that client because your price was too high.

You lost them because your brand didn’t justify it before you got to the price.

Discounting feels like a sales problem. It’s actually a brand problem.

When people can feel the difference… when your brand has a distinct voice, personality, and experience that consumers can relate to, you stop getting compared based on price. Because you’re not comparable to anyone else.

You become the OBVIOUS CHOICEšŸ†

The brands that operate that way aren’t out here competing on price. They’re building identity, loyalty, and an experience that makes people feel something long after the transaction is over.

That’s available to your business too. It starts by intentionally build the ā€œVIBEā€ of your brand at every interaction with every new and existing client.

I made a free guide that breaks the whole thing down.

If your best employee left tomorrow and took their clients with them, that’s not a people problem. That’s a brand experience problem.

Barbershops. Salons. Gyms. Law firms. ANY business where the talent is the product.

The moment a key employee leaves and half your clientele follows them out, you realize the brand was never really yours. It was theirs.

šŸ›£ļøThere’s no traffic in your lane.

But most businesses are sitting in someone else’s.
Same messaging. Same offers. Same aesthetic. Just a different logo.

And then they wonder why they’re competing on price, chasing clients, and starting over every quarter.

Here’s the truth nobody in marketing wants to say out loud…

Blending in is a choice.

Every time you model your brand after what’s already working for someone else, you make that choice. And the market feels it. Clients feel it. You feel it.

The brands that actually shift industries, the ones that build real loyalty, command premium prices, and make people feel something, didn’t find their lane.

They built their own.

And it started with one question:

Who are we, really?

Not what do we sell. Not what’s our niche.

WHO WE ARE and what do we stand for that nobody else does?

That’s your brand secret sauce. And once you know it, everything changes. Your messaging gets sharper. Your positioning gets clearer. Your brand starts to feel like something people remember long after the transaction is over.

I put together a free guide that breaks down what your favorite brands are doing that you probably not even thinking about: BRAND ARCHETYPES. What they are, which one your business actually is, and how to use it to build a brand that owns its lane completely.

Comment ā€œDIFFERENTā€ below and I’ll send it straight to you.

šŸ˜• The fastest way to be ignored is to try to speak to everybody.

Most businesses run ads and post content that technically applies to everyone. And because it applies to everyone it resonates with no one.

Here’s what that looks like in real life.
A massage therapist runs an ad that says ā€œcome in and get a massage.ā€ Crickets😓😓😓

The same massage therapist runs an ad that says:

ā€œDeep tissue recovery sessions for athletes who train hard and need to stay in the game.ā€

Basketball players, runners, and weekend warriors see it and think, ā€œthat’s for meā€.

Same service. Same price. Completely different result.
The difference isn’t the budget. It’s the specificity.

When your marketing speaks directly to one specific person in one specific situation something shifts. They don’t feel marketed to. They feel understood. And people buy from brands that make them feel understood every single time.

Trying to be for everybody is the most expensive mistake a service business can make šŸ’°šŸ’°šŸ’°

The goal isn’t reach. The goal is RESONANCE.

When your ideal client sees your content they should think ā€œhow did they know that about me.ā€

That’s the standard. by @brokenchainmarketing

Most brands are forgettable because they’re built to be seen.. not FELT.

A logo doesn’t create loyalty. A color palette doesn’t create loyalty. A website doesn’t create loyalty.
A feeling does.

The brands people defend, refer, and never leave all chose one specific feeling and built everything around it on purpose.

Comment EXPERIENCE and I’ll DM you the free playbook that breaks down exactly how they do it, and how to do the same for your business. Tap in by @brokenchainmarketing

ā€œWe offer quality service at an affordable price.ā€

This is what a lot of service-based businesses are sounding like right now.

They mean it. They believe it. But so does every single one of their competitors.

That’s not positioning. That’s existing.

Positioning isn’t what you do. It’s the answer to one question most business owners have never actually sat down and answered honestly.

Why would someone who has ten other options choose YOU specifically.

When you can answer that in one sentence your content starts attracting instead of just existing. Your proposals stop getting ignored. The right clients stop shopping around because they can’t find what you offer anywhere else.

Fill in this statement for your business:

ā€œI help [SPECIFIC PERSON] who’s struggling with [SPECIFIC PROBLEM] finally get [SPECIFIC OUTCOME] without [THE HASSLE COMPETITORS MAKE YOU DEAL WITH].ā€

If you stumble that’s not a confidence problem. That’s a clarity problem. And clarity is the only thing standing between where your business is right now and where you want it to be.

šŸŽÆ Your target audience isn’t just about the demographics. It’s about the person. With specific frustrations. A specific moment that made them finally start looking for help. And they NEED a specific reason they’d choose you over everyone else.

Most businesses never figure that part out. So they keep marketing to a ā€œdescriptionā€ of their ideal client instead of speaking to the human that’s actually consuming your content.
