The old Transporter is shedding its skin this week with all the stickered panels on the inside being replaced with new insulated interior upholstery, lighting and a full rewire of the stereo system. Not bad seeing the current set up is almost 20 years old.

Flicking through old surf magazines and board buyers guides that I’ve had in storage for over 20 years, I came across one of my ads from my surf sales & distribution days, Red X Fins had the chance to sign Kelly Slater but he was asking to much and a new smaller company, FCS, was distributed by the Red X guys in the US at the time, as they say the rest is history! Red X Fins are still to this day one of the best removable Fin systems.
