⚽️ Sporting Memories 🤍🖤

It was great to welcome some of our Bromley FC scholars to Sporting Memories, who dropped by to spend time with our participants and joined them for a bit of bingo! 🙌

Sporting Memories is our friendly, FREE fortnightly session for those affected by dementia, offering the chance to socialise in a welcoming environment while enjoying a quiz, bingo with prizes and free refreshments. ☕️

Our next session takes place:

⚽️ Spirit of Bromley | Day Two

That’s a wrap on two fantastic days at The Glades for this year’s Spirit of Bromley!

Today, it was great to be joined by members of our Veterans Hub, while Bromley FC Men’s First Team player Kamil Conteh also popped down to spend some time with us.

Across the two days, we’ve loved meeting so many people from across the community, having conversations and sharing more about the programmes and opportunities available through Bromley FC Community Trust.

A huge thank you to our partners at The Glades for welcoming us once again and for continuing to support the work we do within our community. 🤝

We’ve had a brilliant couple of days and already look forward to doing it all again next year!

Spirit of Bromley | The Glades

It’s great to be back Playing Our Part at Spirit of Bromley again this year!

We’ve had a brilliant first day at The Glades, spending time in the heart of the community and speaking to local people about the programmes and opportunities we offer.

It was great to be joined by some of our Ravens Chat participants, as well as Bromley FC Women’s Jade Davenport, with plenty of football played with members of the public throughout the day! ⚽️

🏆 We’ve also loved seeing so many of you stopping by for a photo with the League Two Play-Off Trophy!

We’re back tomorrow from 9am–5pm in the Central Atrium, Lower Floor, outside Costa, where members of our Veterans Hub will be joining us in the morning.

The trophy will also be back from 12–2pm, so come down, grab a photo and say hello! 👋

🏆 JCB Kia Trophy Tour | Tubbenden Primary School

Last week, we continued our Kia Trophy Tour with a fantastic visit to Tubbenden Primary School, joined by players from both the Bromley FC Men’s and Women’s First Teams ⚽️

Walk & Talk Charity Fundraiser

We’re delighted to support Silverwood Financial Solutions as they organise a special 8-mile circular Walk & Talk on Saturday 3rd October, starting and finishing at Bromley Football Club.

The event will bring together members of our community while raising vital funds for Bromley FC Community Trust and our Armed Forces programmes, helping us continue to support veterans and the wider Armed Forces community across Bromley.

Whether you’re joining to support the cause, connect with others or simply enjoy getting out in the fresh air, we’d love to have you with us.

🤝 We’re delighted to partner with the Crown & Anchor in Bromley to support our local Armed Forces Community.

The pub will host the new Bromley’s Armed Forces Community Meet, a monthly evening get-together providing a welcoming space for veterans and members of the wider Armed Forces Community to connect and socialise.

Following a fantastic first evening, we’re looking forward to seeing the meet continue to grow. 🖤🤍

🤝 On Wednesday evening, we were proud to launch the first Bromley’s Armed Forces Community Meet at the Crown & Anchor pub.

Working alongside Bromley Council, the new monthly evening meet provides another opportunity for veterans and members of the wider Armed Forces Community across the borough to come together, connect and socialise.

The evening complements our existing Friday morning Veterans Hub at Bromley FC, offering an alternative for those who may not be able to attend during the working day.

It was great to be joined for our first evening by Satos Media, a fellow ERS Gold Award holder and part of Bromley’s wider Armed Forces support network.

📅 The next meet takes place on Wednesday 21 October at the Crown & Anchor.

#ThrowbackThursday to last week when we were joined by Bromley Council’s Public Health team as part of the national Know Your Numbers! blood pressure campaign, run by Blood Pressure UK. 🩵

It was great to get our Ravens Chat and Parkinson’s Walking Football participants involved, alongside staff from across the Club and Community Trust, raising awareness of the importance of knowing your blood pressure numbers.

A simple check can make a big difference, and we were proud to play our part in such a worthwhile campaign.

⚽️ Great to welcome Women’s player, Alyssia Mundle, to Hayes Primary School today, where she met young players and presented the awards at the Spring Partnership Trust Football Tournament! 🖤🤍

Our Community Coaches were also playing their part throughout the day, refereeing the tournament and helping to make it a fantastic day of football for everyone involved. 🙌
