A series of images we shot at the start of last year exploring female spaces and the idea of creating home, particularly the humbling empowerment of doing so alone as an adult female. These images are of
@sarahstephens7 in my first paris apartment, someone who I lived / grew up alongside for several years of our 20s in New York, and photographed by @oliviakenney_ , who helped me move my own life across continents after knowing each other for a matter of days.

The feeling and definition of home is so complex and delicate, and so often less about a physical environment and more about the spaces and people that act as an incubator for growth and love, both of self and of others. My hope is that everyone finds the people and places that give them the courage to launch into life, in whatever way that looks for them. I am infinitely grateful for those who have done so for me !!! <3
