Hello to all my followers! I appreciate you and I’m so glad you’re here 💛

I’m Bronte, portrait and wedding photographer, people person, travel enthusiast and likely the loud Australian you’ll hear laughing somewhere across the wedding venue!

Before photography became my full time career, I worked in hospitality and events where I learned how to stay calm under pressure, think on my feet and keep things running smoothly. On a wedding day, that means I’m not just taking photos, I’m calming nerves, solving problems, keeping timelines on track and making sure everyone is having an awesome time!!

I’ve always been an extrovert and endlessly fascinated by people; their stories, personalities, relationships and all the little things that make them who they are. Whether it’s a wedding, portrait session or event, my goal is simple; capture images that feel honest, joyful, and full of life!

Being Australian, travel has always been part of who I am. This year I’ve travelled to Australia, Hungary, Singapore, the Caribbean, Spain, and The Netherlands. With Croatia, Portugal and Scotland still to come. Thanks to my Hungarian passport I can legally work throughout Europe, so if you’re planning a destination wedding, let’s talk!

Alongside weddings I’ve been diving deeper into portrait photography. My recent Illustra Exhibition in Australia features 50 portraits celebrating some of the inspiring women of John XXIII College at the Australian National University, which I was lucky enough to call my home when I was studying at The School of Art. I’ll be sharing these portraits and some exciting new projects over on @brontemorel. As we all know life gets so busy and when you run your own business there’s just not enough hours in the day to ever catch up. It’s such a blessing and a privilege to be my own boss but like a lot of you, I often don’t get the time to switch off.

So a few weeks ago when I went on holiday in the Caribbean I took that much needed time off and completely immersed myself in the slow, relaxing and chilled pace of island life. 10 days of bliss at the sensational @carlisle_bay_antigua . The time I spent with my parents and my sister is time I will treasure forever.

Along with hours doing water sports, playing cards & drinking cocktails, I loved having the time to take photos with @brittanymorelphotography and getting some epic shots with the drone. Feeling refreshed and filled with energy for this exciting year!!

Illustra: 50 Women for 50 Years

2026 has started with a bang💥‼️ Feeling incredibly honoured & proud of the many months that went into the @johnxxiiicollege_anu Illustra Exhibition.

This Exhibition showcases 50 incredible women who have been part of John XXIII College legacy from 1976 until today. A wall of portraits of women who are inspiring! I am so grateful to have been able to meet and photograph all of these phenomenal women and to be one of the alumni alongside them. It’s hard to believe I graduated from the ANU School of Art @anuartdesign almost 11 years ago.

Thank you to the Head of College Jas Lincoln and the Johns Board for selecting me to be the photographer of such a meaningful and encouraging project. Special thanks to Will Ward who made this all come to life and who I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with over the last year. And thanks to all the other people involved who made this project and exhibition opening such a special time! Shout out to @lucentimg for the absolutely stunning prints.

Over the next months I’m going to be sharing the portraits and stories of all these wonderful women so stay tuned!

2025 that’s a wrap 🙌 Thank you to all my incredible couples who have made this year so wonderful!! It has been my absolute joy and pleasure to capture such precious memories for you all and I feel so blessed to have been part of all your very special days! I’m already getting excited for next year’s season with so many more awesome weddings and couples ahead!

Although my wedding season has come to an end, my year is far from over! Next week I’m flying back to Australia to kick off an incredibly exciting project! It’s a huge honour & privilege to be working with @johnxxiiicollege_anu where I lived for 3 years while studying at The Australian National University School of Art… hard to believe it’s 10 years ago!

We are celebrating 50 years of women next year at the college and we will be creating an exhibition to celebrate this amazing milestone. I will be travelling around Australia to capture portraits of 50 incredible woman who have been part of the John XXIII College community. Absolutely buzzing that I get to meet so many high achieving women over the next few months and capture their portraits.

In the meantime I’ve got so many more gorgeous weddings to finish editing & can’t wait to share more with you guys!

Thank you to everyone who encouraged me to take this leap of faith a few years ago and start Bronte Morel Photography! I could never have dreamed I would be here right now but it’s thanks to all of you who’ve made it possible! Can’t wait to see what the next few months have in store!

And yes, that is an Aperol bag which I got for free at duty free & very conveniently fits my Canon AE-1! Winning!

This couple shoot was the perfect mix of fun, trendy, romantic and cool! From their first date in St James Park this has been a special place for Katherine & Jacob. Last year Jacob proposed here so there was no better location for their pre-wedding shoot!

I hope your wedding in Texas on Saturday was everything you dreamed of!! Congratulations guys!!

How is it already Feb of 2025!! It’s hard to believe I haven’t posted in 8 months! Wedding season kept me very busy last year so I could only fit in a few family sessions but this year I’m hoping to make more time for them!

I love coming into a home and capturing the relaxed, authentic and natural moments that make everyday life so worth remembering 💕

This pic was taken back in March of my beautiful friend Jess and her amazing husband Beau. It’s hard being so far away from friends and family but I’m lucky I get back to Aus at least once a year to see everyone! Crazy that little Bailey was still in Jess’s belly and when I got back in December she was already 7 months old!!
